The internal battery is a Lipo ( Lithium Polymer) instead of the Li-ion 18650 used in a lot of mods.
It's rated at 5000Mah which lasts me a whole day without a recharge. The biggest advantage I believe is that when a Lipo gets close to being all used up, it will maintain power to the end. Where as a Li-ion will start to drop voltage I think somewhere near 30%. Don't hold ne to that. I use Lipo's in many RC craft, Plane's, Multirotor's, etc. and have great success with them. This was one of my deciding factors when purchasing this mod. I know a lot of folks don't like internal batteries, that could be a negative I suppose, but I think when they see how long it lasts they may have a change of heart about it. I simply charge mine at night and then I have a fresh charge for the morning.
I still have a charger full of 18650's for my other mods but if more manufacturers start using Lipos it may go to the wayside.
