So I've had my evic for a week and it works great with vw mode but I'm having issues trying to get nickel to work with my lemo 2.
I wrapped a 0.13 coil and locked it at room temp and sometimes it works ok but most of the time, no matter the temp between 420-600 I get basically no vapor or heat at any wattage setting.
Maybe it's the lemo not wicking correctly or maybe my coils aren't spaced properly? I'm not sure what I should do...

It could be the 510 on the Lemo2. I have not had good luck with them. Remove the base and use a chop stick or something similar to completely push the 510 pin out of the base. Also remove the insulator. Clean & dry both. Re-install. Before screwing on the base push the 510 pin into the base as far as it will go. When you screw on the base you should notice that the 510 gets pushed out a bit once it connects to the base pin. This will usually get a Lemo 2 working....for awhile.

Your mod probably is getting erratic resistance readings and is going immediately to temp protect thus little or no vapor.

Do you have a Subtank Plus or Mini? I have had the BEST luck with these on TC mods.

Pretty much every TC problem I have experienced with multiple TC mods has ended up to be something to do with the 510 pin/connection on the atomizer.

I agree! I have either Ni or TI in my subtanks, KF4s, Delta 2, Ego One, and they all work fine. But not so much in the Lemo II. I'll try that 510 trick, thanks!

The Lemo 2 was the first atty I tried TC with and it worked great from the first build..

The lemo 2 is brand new and I bought I specifically for tc as I've heard nothing but good things so hopefully some of these suggestions will fix it or its just a paperweight, I don't like clearos and the subtank is subpar to to me . Could it be that the lemo uses a stainless pin?

I have been using the titanium coil since the nickel one didn't seem to work as well, but neither of them seem to work at all now. They don't look gunked up at all. They both look pretty normal. I'm using the ego one mega, 50 watts and ive tried basically every temp it allows. I normally vape around 450 though.

Coil is shot! If you could look in there while you fire it, you would see it glowing at the hot spot

Did you remember to switch to the ni mode? The tcr curve would be way off for an ni200 coil in ti mode

Yes, it's in the correct mode.

Well... On the ni coil....450 is enough to singe cotton.... The wick holes of that coil are tiny.... You probably weren't getting enough juice to the coil

Some people have been drilling out the wick holes....i will be trying a clr coil.. If that doesn't improve the wicking, the ego tank will go in the closet

Wonder if any of you have been using Ijust 2 tank with Nickel coils on the VT?
I just got mine with the anticipation it would work better than the Ego ONE Mega but got disappointed after trying two coils. Vapor is not so great and tank is getting pretty hot.
I am now awaiting Nickel coils for VCT tanks since I have a few of them. Will compare those two tanks.
I am also awaiting the new Subtank RBA and might do a nickel build on it.

Clr coils don't need drilling, they have adjustable wicking....

Do you lack the ability to put a kanthal coil in there?
