Peculiar
I use my mechanicals for rebuildables and low resistance bridgeless atomizers. A Igo-L would work great with that, I get a lot of my supplies from OKCVapes its close to me so shipping is super fast. If you get into rebuildables you should pick up a multimeter, you can get one at the parts store for about $20. I also used an ohms law app at first to figure how many watts, amps I'd be using. Now I just shoot for .7 ohms that means that if I have a fully charges battery 4.1v with no voltage drop(there is always a drop under a load) that should equal 24 watts pulling 5.9 amps. From what I've researched and I could be wrong staying under 10amps is safe-ish. If you get into rebuildables please use high quality batteries.

Oh, didn't know that the 101 had no ego threading. That's the one with the flat sides? Or was that the K200.

Dud. stupid me. It does have ego threading. I just couldnt see them. I feel stupid after 4 years of vaping everything under the sub :) THE K101 does have ego threading...

Haha, yeah I didn't know they had ego threading until I got some Evods and tried to screw them on and to my surprise they actually did.

love mine. It has a good feel to it. And, I wont feel bad when the inevitable drop from a table happens.

I've got a boneheaded question.
When you're sanding down the contacts....how do you know when to stop?
I'm guessing when the color of the metal changes?
I'm not even sure if I want/need to do this. I'm pretty happy with my K100 as-is.
So much so that I want a K101 (or is it K100-101?).
The one with the flat sides.
I figure I'll go with the loud blue color on that one.
:)
Although....now that fasttech is listing the K100 in all those new colors I might as well
just wait and see if they do the same for the K101....

I mean to add, I'm mainly using mine in 18350 mode with a long barrel atomizer from smartvapes.
This one, if it makes any difference:
SmartVapes 510 Dripping Atomizer long Barrel 1.5ohm
I've only had it for a few days and I'm a little befuddled. I go from gurgling to burnt. I've not had
one nice clean hit. Sometimes I get a LOT of great flavor but almost no vapor, which is weird....

I've also just started fiddling with RBAs. Got a little squid clone from fasttech and rebuilt that with
satisfactory (but not mind blowing) results. I just got a nimbus clone from them. Made for dual coils.
I gave it a good wash and am gonna give the "stock" setup a try before I try rebuilding it.

A word of warning though: mine had a pretty awful metal burr on the inside, where the airhole was
drilled out. I managed to remove it and sand that area down and gave it a thorough cleaning so I feel
it's safe now.
