That I won't know till I get me Zenesis in a couple of weeks, but the wicks can be resized easily. If they are too big then you just roll them tighter. If they are too small then you put an unbent paper clip in the tube and turn it first to loosen the roll a bit and then put a bigger paper clip or pin into the tube to expand it.

I also found that grainger is selling #325 ss mesh for about $10 per 12x12 inch sheets.

The mesh store also has it for a little more, but their price is for 3 sheets I believe and they always throw in at least one free sheet usually a different count than you ordered. It sounds expensive, I know because I thought that when I first got into Genisis mods, but a 12x12 sheet will last the average vaper a very long time (well over a year once you get past the experimenting stage and settle into what you like on your mod).

It's a bit of a pain, since it being mesh, you end up with 'teeth' that can make it resistant to doing so, but you can tighten up a wick after it's been rolled. For context, just take a slip of paper... receipt or something, roll it loosely, and then try to work it as tight as you can get it. Similar process can be done on a mesh wick. It takes a bit more muscle than you would think, since they feel a little fragile in the hand. While they bend easily, they don't crush easily. I set it on a table, lean on it with both hands, press down and roll it away from myself (in the direction that tightens it, of course). Repeat that, kneading it more towards the ends than the middle, since it'll be looser at the ends.

As for the used ones, my thought would be to dip it in water, then get it glowing with a torch. Repeat that a couple of times, and it should be fine. Also, your starting over somewhat at that point. The with shouldn't be distorted in any direction after oxidization in any direction, as at a microscopic level, this cracks the oxidation. It'll have to be re oxidized once adjusted.

That's why I was thinking if you bought pre-made, pre-oxidized wicks, you wouldn't be able to manipulate them much.
I think part of the fun will be trying to make the wicks, but then again, it could quickly turn horribly wrong. LOL

this is my only/main concern with the rebuildables. BTW, what part of washington are you in?

That would be cool ..... what's half way? Longview?
I have to go down to Portland eventually this spring some time, I have to look at some property we have in Forest Heights.

Nice! Let me know. I would really like to meet up with some fellow vape people. As I said, there are a lot from washington, but not a lot from Oregon. The Oregon group is dead.

lorderos - can you re-size the wicks once they are all oxidized and "coated"? I thought they were hard and gunky at that point. LOL

They harden slightly but can definitely be re-sized. They are not really gunky when they are first oxidized, they should just look like black mesh, the coating is microns thick only :).

No worries, it just takes a bit of practice. It's actually much easier than it sounds :)
