Kayfun lite plus black clone edition

I went 5/64" 2.0mm with mine. Provided the BE clones are drilled to the same spec(which could be hit or miss) it should work but leaves very little material at the top. Try 1/16" 1.6mm, I first did that and it opened it up enough I would have been satisfied.

Check for burrs also, had a few where the center and air hole opening meet, removing those opened it up a little and removed any whistle it had.

Thanks for the explanation ... Unfortunately, I can turn that little screw in or out, and I can't tell any difference in the draw. On mine, it don't seem like it does much of anything.

Take the screw all the way out, then look inside, there may be another one in there. I had two of those screws stuck on top of each other in that hole.

I started to break it down but still have some juice in it. You can see how close the top of the 5/64" hole is to where the bottom tube section screws on to the base.

Bought from the same seller, the black edition with the red O rings. 2 of the screws start to rust after I left it in the hot water.

That may or may not be the black Russian edition. Mine have black orings. The few I've received haven't rusted at all. 100% ss.

Lol there's a kayfun lite clone, black edition (looks pretty much the same as the standard KFL with brushed ss finish) and there's a Black Russian. The Black Russian has the same matte finish as the russian 91, and comes with red o rings.

I have the Black Russian and I haven't had any issues with the screws rusting.

I literally just re-coiled my Black Russian (matte finish, red o-rings, etc) and there WAS a surprisingly large amount of gunk built up on the coil, and it had settled on one of the screws as well. It could be mistaken for rust, but I'm 100% positive it isn't. It's just joose-crud.

No, I used a hand drill with a cobalt bit.

Used my hands and a variable speed drill at slow speed letting the bit find it's way a little at a time, don't force it. The hole was already pre-drilled and I went up in steps, first 1/16 then 5/64 so it wasn't that difficult. I also recessed the bit in the chuck more than normal to help reduce stress.

Where are you guys finding the black edition KFL+ ? I bought one on eBay several weeks ago (and love it) and I'd like to get another. I'm not seeing it anywhere on ebay...but my eyes aren't what they use to be

Why are ppl still buying the "Black Edition"? For $11-12 less you can get the same thing from a different seller unless you want to spend the extra $$ for a black box... I bought mine 3 weeks ago for $38.50. Doesn't make sense to me, I guess some ppl rather spend more just cause it's been talked up and has a special name

It won't be long before one of these Chinese companies will be introducing the Russian / Kayfun "Diamond Edition" with it's genuine fake diamond glued to the outside of the fake silver colored box ... and of course, the infamous "Designed in Russia - Made in Germany" quote proudly displayed on the box.
