Enormous amounts of vapor/flavor is exactly what I was getting, and the reason I became sold on the cotton setup to begin with. After some due diligence, I have come to the conclusion that I have been vaping the same flavor for a week SOLID, and it is time to change it up/refresh the palette.

hmm my experience is similar. I just rolled my first coils for my new KFL. It's 10 micro wraps (1.5mm ID) of 28g with cotton wick. Came out to 1.2ohms. I used a flavor I haven't been vaping today, and it's fairly strong: Lime Creme. The result: obscene amounts of vapor, and fairly muted flavor. Not non-existent, just muted compared to my mesh gennies, or my cotton micro IGO-L with the same wraps and resistance.

Update: as I continue to vape it, the flavor is getting stronger. Guess the setup is settling down. It's actually quite nice. Smoother than the gennies and the IGO-L (but the IGO-L has a really small air chamber, so it's knida in-your-face with low ohm micros). I quite like this build. The vapor is very satisfying. I get a pretty minimal TH, but that's true for most of my setups.

Day two with my new KFL: this is one of the best atomisers I've used of any kind. The design is quite impressive. The feed system is incredibly consistent, no leaks, and unsurpassed vapor production. This thing is a fog machine. My initial impression of muted flavor appears to be no longer the case. All in all, a new favorite! :vapor:

Darn metric system! I cannot imagine/visualize things in centimeters and millimeters! I think America is the only country that hasn't adopted metric measurement. I guess I should invest in a caliper.....
I think you're right America just might be one of the only countries left that hasn't gone metric, I'm supprised after all these years after we switched the US still hasn't. kinda odd...

We're close.
Food volume, nutrition labels, engine displacement, firearms, our currency, drug transactions, etc. is all metric. We're getting there!

I noticed. I was in Costco state side awhile back and I noticed all the liquor was in litres, nothing in ounces! I'm old enough where I was taught imperial as a kid but know both now, and use both on a daily basis

Drug dealers have been using the metric system here since the 80's with kilos for weight and using 9mm chambered guns like the uzi, mac 10. Today they use the same metric system but upgraded to 7.62 x 39 round in their gold plated AK47s or whatever they received from the Fast and Furious.

I went to schoolin Kentucky... We were still on the imperial system... LBs, QPs, OZs & Quarters... (There's a time and place for everything... College was the time and place for most of it. ;))

I got my KFL a week or so ago through intaste. Haven't tried setting it up yet because honestly I was kind of scared due to the fact that I haven't rebuilt anything other than a protank head twice. Today I said screw it, I'm going to try. Watched Andrew's vid on Youtube and followed just as he does it. 3mm silica and 32 gauge kanthal. First try, 1.9 ohms. Filled her up with my GVC, and HOLY COW! What a discovery! Thanks everyone in this thread for great suggestions and being so helpful.
