The ehpro is a KFL clone for sure. There were a few issues with it but they were easily fixed. Check the thread here.

Its a very nice device for the 60$ I paid for it. It works just as well as my KFL. Looks just as good too.

I do like the holes on the side for the wires, its a nice option to have that the KFL does not. I would reccomend a KFL over it, but for a second or 3rd, the ehpro is great, like I said. I use it as my daily work beater so I don't scratch my KFLs

Good option for parts too, all of them of interchangeable from the KFL to the ehpro

Nice looking coils there bustabo. Looks like you got battle scars to boot! :vapor:

Battle scars are from work, had to replace a seal on the air line glad hands on my kenworth and managed to catch my finger with the serrated edge of my knife while doing it.

Thanks Bronze. Sorry I feel like a complete idiot ordering this stuff. They're telling me that they use 20ga and I don't even see 30ga on their site. Can you recommend a place for these extras to create the wicks? Also is it the same ring for the regular Kayfun? And when you say no insulators - do you mean don't order them?

I believe they are talking about our 32g wire. in Europe they sometimes state wire dimensions by mm. 20 mm is 32g wire.

One more thing slightly off topic - I was on InTaste and noticed some 3400 mah panasonics. Anyone try these in a Provari? They seem to be the right size, but how high the button extends could be an issue. I've been using Orbtronic 2900's but would like to try these as well when i order.

im with bronze on this one, I would stay with the recommended batterys for the provari, aw/imr's. the best place I have found is rtd vapors. also if your going the silica route, they have some of the best silica around, very high quality stuff

Thank you! Just curious, have any of you guys ever tried ribbon kanthal?

if you decide not to do a micro coil then you could use ribbon wire instead of round. the ribbon is a little harder to wrap and produces less of a throat hit, besides that it does produce slightly more vapor. the extra work involved imo doesn't warrant the usage.

Do you guys think 25ft of wick is over kill?

wick or wire? I think most responded for the wire. anyways I think you got your answer. 25ft, if wire, is not a lot if your going to experiment, buy at least 50ft rolls, also maybe while your paying for shipping, also buy a few different wire gauges. at least 28g and 30g for sure. because I like doing different builds I have accumulated a ton of wire, I have 34,32,30,29,28,27,and 26. and am looking for 25. good luck

I was really intrigued by this set up (pic from above). I'm sure there is something out there somewhere showing you how to get it configured. I'm just picturing a cotton ball in my head and trying to figure out how the hell they got it to look like that lol.

when wrapping around the coil and not through it, its called pid coil or poop in diaper. not sure why it was called this, maybe the coil looked like a turd sitting in a diaper. now there is another thread and they call it a dragon coil, either way I do think it out performs a wicked coil. now if I can only incorporate this in the k-lite.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement chimney? Don't ask.... :)

did my coils blow up your chimney?

Yeti, your chimney is fine. It's the rest of your Kayfun that needs replacement. :D

I have not used a micro coil on the Kayfun yet, could not fish the 2mm. I am going to give your set up a try on my next wick order. Don't have to keep recoiling then. Had it on my Provari but the I put it on a Sigelei #8 (not top line but it looks good) mech with an Orbtronic battery and get good results at 1.3 ohms. My Provari won't fire it above 4.2 volts. May go to 1 ohm and keep it on the mech

not for nothing but the 2 scenarios shouldn't be much different in wattage. on the provari a 1.3 ohm coil at 4.2 is about 14 watts of power (you should be able to push that coil to 4.3v, if not , its most likely because your resistance is teetering between 1.2 to 1.3 ohms) anyways at 14 watts that's just about as much as youll get with the provari. now take the mech at 1 ohm, with a fresh battery your going to get some voltage loss, depending on the quality of your device you will get varying numbers from this loss. with the zeigeli #8, I would imagine that the voltage actually going to the coil is going to be around 3.8v, and this voltage is only going to be for a short time because as you know the battery drains as you vape. ok, at 3.8v and a 1-ohm coil equals slightly over 14 watts. the only way in which one can achieve higher wattages to a provari v-2 on a mech consistently is to lower the resistance under 1 ohm. actually more like .8 to .7 or lower.
