After the customs nightmare on the previous batch of orders. I am not sure if that was the best move, but already missed vaperev train and after drooling over the thread for 56 pages, I was already Pavlovian conditioned to click on purchase button whenever I see it.

Although I have spent way more than I could justify so far on vape gear in total, this is the single most expensive item I ordered. Incredible how ones perspective shifts from 'i have two VV egos and three clearomizers, I should be all set' to 'i need to have a kayfun lite', 'oh, I need it so bad'.

Let's see how this well-engineered, well-built little machine will play itself out compared to the already good enough collection of atomizer thingies I have. (Recently I have been enjoying a smoktech-terminator turned diver, DIY enhanced dream tank and some cotton wick gennies, which I should post about sometime.)

Received the mail alert as well... but this time I let it pass, for two reasons:

1. Though my K-Lite "Debut Order" came in without a/ny fuss I yet wanted to see how their 2nd batch moves across the pond, given all the customs riff-raff we observed recently (I'm aware that 2 of our members are yet to receive theirs);

2. I was seriously out of budget, having ordered a K-Lite just in the morning and scores of other goodies along the previous week (2 x Mods, 3 x Attys, Wire-Mesh / Juice et all).

I love my Kayfuns, but I have a quick question. For those of you who use the K lite, or v3.1es in all SS mode without the clear window, how do you know when to stop filling when using a fill bottle as opposed to a syringe? I want to use some of my "tank cracker" juices, but this little thing is holding me back. I am not worried about knowing when to fill, just overfilling...

Any tips would be appreciated. TIA.

For the Lite. Just keep filling until you reach the top. Use a blunt tip syringe or syringe bottle to remove some excess juice.

No, cover the air hole while filling. Screw the cap down a bit. Invert the tank while you finish screwing in the cap.

Yes a little flooding happens filling this way but it's way easier. Try sucking on the mouth piece as your screwing it on that may cause no flooding. I will try that next time I fill.

I haven't received mine yet, so I haven't tried filling one. But I DIY all my own juice, so I have lots of syringes around. I guess if I wanted to use the ss tank tube, I'd use the fill hole, and measure 3.5 ml of juice.

Filling my LITE, with the top off, causes very little, if any flooding. I had to change the top o-ring, since my fluid is making them swell. After 2 days the o-ring pops out of the upper cap. I have no flooding problems with my LITE. The manuel suggests to leave a little air in the tank when filling.

But I admit to being skeptical of the "turn it upside down" bit. I understand the physics involved and all - even still, the first time I try is going to be over a sink. Is turning upside down really necessary?

When screwing down the top fully it will slightly pressurize the tank forcing juice from the tank through the bottom channels feeding the wick. By flipping upside down, minimal juice is forced into the wick channels. At least thats what I do.

Turning it upside down is the whole point, so you don't flood the chamber. And don't forget to cover the airhole when filling.

Is there a thread to improve the smoktech-terminator? I have two and I find them wanting to be better. Plus I don't have a good tank system to toss them in just the garbage they came with.

You are working with a positive-pressure system. Drawing on it will induce negative pressure. Doesn't sound like a winning plan.

Not necessary unless u intend filling it from the top cap (removed) end - which is again not necessary as there's a Phil-Hole available to do that job! But if u do like to fill it the unconventional way - u must turn it upside with the Phil-Hole covered with ur finger -- else, u'd have severe flooding, gurgling, hissing, near-'0' vapor and Spitfires to spoil ur mood! BEWARE !
