on 28ga @ 1/16" ID, aprox 10 wraps will bring you to approx 1 ohm so dual 10 wraps will be only .5 ohm... point being that to do 28ga and not go really low sub ohms you'll need to do long coils like I have shown... 20 wraps each coil at ~1/16th inner dia. will net around 2 ohms each, duals in this config will be around 1 ohm... I'd probably shoot for between 18-20 wraps each... the heat up time on something like this may be a several seconds though whenever you hit it from cold... def doable with 28ga but I find 30 to be better for this particular build, just heats up a bit faster, my dual 13 wrap 30ga heats up in a second or 2 but duals @28ga certainly isn't bad and will work but you really need to use a meter or something because 28ga duals are really easy to go too low with, I wouldn't go lower than .8-.9 or so, even if your mech can handle the power the kayfun won't be able to keep up with wicking at these power levels, especially with duals... you should pick up some 30 ga to play with these ideally

yeah i learned the hard way when i went wraped a 28g 13 times and it was still 1.8-2 ohm lol...even trying to fit the coil between the screws seemed to be a hard thing to do. I have a yard of 32g that i had planned on twisting to make a twisted vertical coil but my drill broke so might try that.

I'm sorry if this has been covered already but it was suggested I post my question in this thread:

I recently bought a genuine KFL+ and it's been the most amazing vape of all the devices I have. Because I like diversity in my devices I've been looking at the kayfun Mini but I'm having an issue withe cost over the Lite. Can anyone tell me why the Mini is so much more expensive?

I have a lite but not a mini. But I promised you would get an answer here and you will. This is the foremost thread on all things Kayfun. :)

I dunno but I bought my wife one and she loves it and yes I agree...the KF's are amazing devices. In my book, worth every penny and I don't have to hear my wife constantly B*tch*ng about how crappy her PT's tasted. It was worth every penny :~)

Not sure if there are more reasons for the price difference but it does come with an extra chimney top so you can extend the tank from 3ml to 5ml. I have both and the mini works just as well as my lite+, though I do prefer the fill port on the lite. I didn't get the fill bottle for the mini when I bought it and finding another way to fill through the port has been a challenge.

I just got a Kayfun mini...full kit from cloud9. It has both the standard chimney, and the extra long chimney and additional section to run in in "long mode". It will also run in standard mode, and as a dripper. I've only run it in long mode...it holds 7ml. Weighs a lot less than my KFL, but it's about 4 1/4“ including the drip tip. But it's all about the vape...OMG...just as good as the KFL, maybe even a little better.

I wasted at least 15ml of juice trying to fill my Mini when I first got it...turned out that the o'ring in the top cap had fallen out and I didn't realize it...anyway it has been a pain to fill through the fill port. At first I had no success filling from the top but I gave it another try and it works flawlessly now. It only takes a second to fill that way. Just make a turn or so when putting the top cap on and turn it upside down and let the air bubbles rise and then tighten the top cap down.

I had a not positioned correctly oring, and once that was fixed, I seemed to have trouble getting the fill port started. Even though I cleaned it well I think the port was a little stuck closed. I used a blunt metal needle, inserted it and it started filling. Went back to the plastic needle, and it's worked fine ever since. Note that you have to fill through the fill port slowly, or the juice will go into the wicking holes and right down the chimney...

Need some help with my kayfun lite plus here. What happens if you have a thick juice which isn't wicking as efficiently as I'd like. Do you tighten the draw? I have wicking issues with mother'ls milk from suicide bunny. Not sure of the VG/PG ratio of it. But seems like its pretty thick. My other juices don't seem to have the same problem.

You could add a few drops of distilled water to thin the juice

My orings appear correct but it is possible one is wrong I will tear it down before my next fill. I haven't tried a blunt needle, I may see if I can find one. I was hesitant to try one since I'd heard it could damage the fill port. I did use a plastic needle once but I got quite a bit of fluid flowing back out of the fill hole. I ordered some new needle tip bottles to see if that helps otherwise I will have to stay with filling from the top.

You do have to push in with the needle tip. I think mine was a little stuck at first, and once unstuck has worked fine ever since.

I'll try it my current plastic needle tip is really long and flexible I may just not be able to put enough pressure on the valve with that needle. We will see what it is like when get the new tips in. Thanks for the advice.

Let us know how it works. I'm using a plastic squeeze bottle with a luer lock cap, that way I can use either a blunt tip metal needle, or a plastic one in whichever gauge I need. Picked some up on eBay for a good price, if you're ordering something already from cloud9, they have some very nice ones.
