sounds like my Western Star ;)

Downhill racer!

Yeah its got a series 60 Detroit 435 but its kinda tired.... The Eaton 13 keeps it moving.... It would be bad with only a 8 speed

I was driving a 82 mack tri-axle for a bit a while ago, it had a 235 with a 5 speed.... It was a twin shift but not a quad box, main stick was 1-5 and the other was high low reverse, we were paving a long stretch of highway and I got it up to 5th in reverse...

Now that truck was a downhill racer, 55mph downhill with a tailwind, empty...

I didnt think you had to pay VAT if it's shipped outta country? I was in the military overseas and when I had to buy something expensive on the local economy, we had a VAT form that knocked off the VAT for in country use. Something seems strange to me.

Anyone else here in the states paying the VAT when buying from places like cloud 9?

C9V commented about this in another thread, now closed: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cloud-9-vaping/436999-vat-tax-paid-non-europeans.html

According to HMRC non-european countries are "out of scope" and should be exempt from paying VAT. It sounds like C9V is trying to rely on a loop-pole AKA - Royal Mail. It seems like they could easily change their method of shipping, which may cost their customers a little more but surely not 20%?????

Personally, I won't shop at C9 until/unless they change their policy, but each to their own, of course.

I'm running a day cab tractor with a frameless trailer dump for now, hauling sand for the winter till flatbed starts and I'll haul some bags of fertilizer

I also hauled tanker with sludge from water treatment plants and trailer dumps with cake.... Now that's a crappy job, literally hauling ...sh ..it.. all day, wasnt fun in the summer
At all but I didn't do that for long

Will completely removing the airflow screw cause any vacuum problems? I'm thinking of removing both airflow screws from my kfl+ and Russian 91

Nope. Actually if you do take it apart and see how it works, you'll realize that after loosening it past a certain point, there really isn't much difference between taking it entirely off and leaking it a quarter-ish of a way on. (When it sits flush with the outside curvature of the russian)

Another thing to point out, based on how the KFL is built, there are 2 distinct sections within it: everything within the chimney (coil, deck, chimney, air tube etc) which connects to the atmosphere and the other being the volume between the chimney and the tank itself. The eliquid acts as the interface between these two. The vacuum is maintained by and in the second section. So if you do things like keep your kfl rotating up right and sidewards for extended periods of time, it WILL mess up the vacuum and leak. Having a bigger air hole makes that a tad worse.

(This is the reason why if you use the fill from top method, you wanna make sure you close up the air hole with your finger first)

I got two kayfun lites pre-plus that are going up in the class/eBay. One is in like new condition, never left the house and the other has increased air and juice flow and makes clouds at around 8-8.5 watts. Also my silver satin provari and 18650 cap will be going as soon as I get a ohm meter. People in this thread have helped me many times to smooth out my kayfun builds and your a great bunch. Thank you and see you in reoville folks.

I barely use any cotton in my kfl and both my juice channels and air hole have been increased. In this configuration I have put my vape in its case, tossed the case in a backpack and snowboarded all day and also on a dirt bike at friends mx track. Up side down and tossed around and never leaked.
If it is wicked properly and the wicks don't fall out of place on you, a larger air flow should not affect the design of the kayfun. Or at least not on mine.
When driving to a higher elevation, the pressure has caused juice to come from air hole and also going from a very cold place to a very warm place can make it leak. But never has it leaked from positioning on me. I have had to open it back up after a build and stick my wick ends tight against the juice well to stop an over flow. Just trying to show that it can be done while still retaining the original design function.

anyone know where I can get replacement insulators in the us for the kayfun lites?...actually its for a Russian 91. I forgot to fully lock my fire button while I was getting a haircut and it got real warm in my pocket. Everything seems fine I don't have a burnt taste ATM and I won't be able to check til the tanks empty. But I'd like to go ahead and get spares
