If there is an interest in these, i was told to open a interest thread in the coop section & run a coop on these. I am almost half way threw my nano tank. This is an interest post. But i think i can work a coop out & not get in trouble here (ECF). I just got these 3 hours ago. Will talk to some more vapers this week. I am going to put one on my R91 + glass kit, just because i like the low weight.

Thats a frosted tank. Its a different kkind of look. The clear ones look better with setups IMHO.
The larger clear tanks don't look great to begin with, regardless if they are clear or frosted IMO. Of course, the same can be said for the original mouthpiece, too
Madvapes has more cloned m tanks in stock for 5 dollars. I just ordered two more, they work great.

I am considering buying the kayfun lite plus as an upgrade from my aerotank and i was wondering if I should go for the real thing or if a clone works as well... I have the money for the original but I have been told that many clones perform the same.

Unfortunately with clones, performance and manufacturing can be very very inconsistent.
Even in the latest batch of KFL black edition for example, mine works flawlessly. No whistle, no dry hits, no leaks, AFC works perfectly, and my air flow ranges from very airy to very tight depending on how much I screw my AFC in. Other folks like LReyes66 seems to have ended up with one that has a tighter airflow.
But heh, if you're lucky like me, you'll end up with a clone that works just as good as the authentic. That's coming from someone with 4 authentic kfl+ and 5 r91.

Yup mine is 1.4mm when a authentic is 1.6mm airhole. That ain't a clone then!!!!

Heh. Did I mention I have 12 clones....? Hahahaha hahahahahahahahaahha. I'm waiting for my final clone to go on sale and I'm done with toppers for good; I don't really subohm and when I do it's just with my simple igo w. Anything apart from subohming, it's pretty much close to impossible to get a better vape than the kayfuns kinda toppers.
For the record, I'm a kayfun hoarder only because I like to dedicate each one to a specific juice so that I always have access to then when the itch arises

I only have 3 juices I really enjoy in my rotation so those other 20+ kayfuns would be a waste for me.

I don't own any KF clones, but I've spent my life as a machinist, and the build quality of the original is absolutely TOP NOTCH
for a production piece. If they hand-made them (versus CNC), the quality would be even better, but not enough to offset the
price we would have to pay for them.
I don't need too many KF's, 3 is enough, so I will probably never opt for a clone of any kind since I've never had a single issue
with any of my genuine one's. (I'm not going to factor in the whistling issue, lol)
That being said, I'm not a vape-snob lol...
I am, in fact, a fan of HCigar. When it comes to tolerances and machining, you usually get more than you pay for with HCigar
as opposed to the plethora of Chinese cloning companies.

When I first started with my KFL's I was using the clear tanks. However if you ever accidentally drop your mod (with the KFL attached) onto a hard surface, it's very easy for the threading to chip on the tank. Once that happens, the tank will always leak. I've been using the SS tank ever since. Also, you'll not only know when you're getting close to empty by the taste, but also by time. For me 3 days is the max amount of time I'll get out of a full tank of juice. For filling, if you fill using a blunt nose needle, just suck some back in once the juice comes to the top.

bleargh. my R91 came in the vape mail today. went on to rinse and wash it out. BAM. lost the square insulator AGAIN.
god i'm hopeless at this. that's the second one I've lost in 2 weeks from a R91 straight from the vape mail hahahahahahha

got mine from ebay since evcigarettes was sold out. But then again you do have 20+ others kayfuns/russian/clones you can use or take parts from.
