I just ordered a bunch of o-rings from McMaster-Carr for my KFL, and other stuff. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/120/3508/=rpyleq

The o-rings are spec'd by ID & thickness. All dimensions below are mm. Sold in packs of 100. But really inexpensive. They ship fast.

Fill screw: 2 x 1
Chimney: 5 x 1.5
Base, sections: 18 x 1

Quoting this for future reference, thank you for the info!

You should add the size of a drip tip o-ring to that list. I'd argue that if you're ordering it'd be handy to have some that size too.

There's a definite for and against argument going for clones in here, and I think folks are getting sensitive to the topic. Let's drop it while we're still ahead, huh?!

Folks with, and those buying clones and counterfeits. All I have to say is "buyer beware". There's some decent ones out there, and there's some really crappy ones. If you are one of the few that has a good one, good on you.

The folks buying originals are not elitists and that is NOT the attitude that they are trying to portray. So, please let's drop the animosity that seems to be brewing, and get back on topic discussing the kayfun Lite.

Well said Dusty!

But the problem here is, this thread is about the kayfun Lite not Krapfun Lite. Infrequently peeps come over here ranting their woes ~ this happened and that happened with their Kayfuns. Never really disclosing that their's is NOT a Kayfun but of the 'other' kind.

And thereafter unnecessary discussions run amuck, leading to believe that the K'funs might have some issues. Whereas 99% of the time those were talking about the 'others' and not the K'funs. Over a year now with K'funs and nearly a year now with the KFLs I have zero issues with any of mine. They just work. Efficiently. Perfectly. Giving me some super VTF.

Well, Q does have a point. This thread was premised on the genuine Svoemesto Kayfun Lite. Over time it has morphed into the Russian, then this clone, that clone, on and on. There are differences in the products. What does this thread want to be? I always vote for decorum so we should be able to sort this out in a constructive manner. No?

You want to stop this but I think you're wrong for saying that the "A few that got a good one". It might be that most of us got good ones. I don't see a lot of complaints with these clones. Just happy vapers that simply like a good deal on a good kayfun.

I think a lot of the problems that people have with the Kayfun style systems is that they do not understand how they work when they first get them. I feel this is true for both the originals and the clones. This is a great system, but it has to be coiled and wicked correctly. It has to be 100% sealed up with NO air leaks to work right. When the operator of the system gets the hang of it, they then start to get great results. Now, this is not true if the system has manufacturer design or construction errors which is the case with the bad clones.
I started out with the real Kayfun Lite when this forum thread had about three hundred pages and I read every single page before I made that first Kayfun Lite purchase. Thanks to all the early posters on this thread I had a very short learning curve and was able to enjoy my Kayfun from the first day I received it. I have since purchased a few clones and they have performed good for me, but not quite like that first real Kayfun. That real one is always perfect and I am glad that is what I started out with.

Ricks, Dusty is a moderator. He's trying to get the thread back on track. Pipe down.

And that, just about sums it up. There is a slight difference no matter what, between how the clones are built and put together vs the original. You won't know the difference unless you've tried and worked with the real one in comparison. Sure it will work..but is it working at it's optimal performance level?!

I've seen and handled the clones/counterfeits at our local vapemeets. The build quality is different, and that is a simple fact.

I don't want to segregate the users with the clones/counterfeits but if this thread continues to disintegrate, I will simply ask that this be a thread where only the "Originals" are discussed, and a separate thread be created for clones/counterfeits of all types.

The choice at this time is for all of you to make.

Got a website for me? I tried the tip from a Pulse G but it has a large opening. Have you tried a regular tip on the Kayfun?
If you're not cheap like me when it comes to drip tips, science-of-vaping has nice stubby microbore drip tips
