Why not? I thought cotton for a genny was pretty brilliant. Started me down a whole new path of vaping - so he's kinda the wind beneath my wings too. :thumb:

Hahah that was more with reference to the fact that I never realized that vapdivrr was the guy whose YouTube video I watched. :D

Kayfun for Under 15 bucks... I love a great deal and it looks and works great. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1605200

1. Made out of drainpipe steel, if it is steel that is!
2. Poor workmanship, material, fit and finish
3. Lower gauge material, thus feebly construction
4. Clear Tanks of plastic
5. Lead 'added' to soften the material (for ease of machining)

I can go on, but you'd cuss me anyway.
Not me, Google says

It looks and works great for me. It fits together perfectly. Prove its made with poor quality stainless steel and I might agree with you.

The top cap is solid, no juice well. The chimney is larger diameter then OEM kayfun/Russians. Need to change the chimney top to fit a real top cap. I will agree for 14 bux it does the job. It does have large juice wells. But the machining & metal is questionable. I have one of these as a test dummy.

    Awww clone bashing :(

I've owned 7 authentic with one more coming in Monday. And a sheeeeeetload of clones (at this point I've had approx 16). Can't say too much about the fasttech ones, but the ehpro, hcigar and black editions have been more than sufficient for my abuses including chest height drops, pliers with no cloth etc. All parts are 100% interchangeable with authentic (which proved to be a pita one time when I disassembled and washed them all together).

For the money they charge for the real ones is just way too much. It doesn't cost that much to make these. With most of these clones, they are almost exactly the same, vape the same but simply cost a lot less. Buy what you want, but I would rather pay less for a very similar item.

    Kaufun Fasttech3.jpg

Negatives on every count. Just a shoddy work.
But one can never understand unless one uses a 'genuine' K'fun!
I have six, all from InTaste, Vaperev and C9V

If it keeps you from smoking @ fits your $ budget, I say enjoy it. I am not bashing clones, i do understand not every one has $ to drop on high end gear. I have the above linked clone. Dual coils in it & it performs great. I just did not care for the top cap, and found the chimney was not standard size. To clarify read 1st sentence

    Q. I only try n keep 2 attys of what i like.. Is the above 3.1 clone vA?? I just got vB https://www.fasttech.com/p/1635300 To test there 3.1 hybrid to nemesis adapter. Kit needed a extra o-ring but works quite well. Yes any clone is hit or miss... China quality control, i got a tobeco clone from ebay, no air intake hole drilled in the deck.

There are plenty of decent clones in the $25 to $35 range. Probably not a good choice for one's first Kayfun but plenty decent enough considering that you can get 3 and have change compared to the price of a real one. For someone like me who's unsure if I can come up with $40 to $50 to make an inexpensive e-liquid order for this month and the next's vaping needs these cheap clones are truly the only option. And the changes, corrections or modifications (whichever name you choose to call them) of clones like the black edition or the latest V2 with larger airhole are arguably better than the original.

As long as one buying a clone realizes that one of the ways that they can be made so cheaply is to eschew any sort of quality control and you can end up with something that'll never work properly, you'll be OK. Granted not too likely but still possible. And to also know that other corners can be cut, cheaper quality stainless steel for the body, using plain steel screws instead of stainless, etc. But all these can be fixed for little cost by the purchaser. But also all things that you needn't deal with when you buy an original.

I just think otherwise. If I can't afford it I'd use this:

Offers gr8 vape, looks nice. But I'll still not be going around with a Counterfeit (clones are still Ok).

And the talk of "I want to try it before I buy the genuine" / "it is expensive, so let me get the clone" / "the genuine is not available so the clone is perfect" etc. is all BS. B'coz there are worthwhile genuine devices out there for under $100 (some even for $50-60). My this is under $100:

As genuine as it gets, direct from Romania, via Vapor Wall.

And what was the costs of smoking again?

Ehh...? Can't you just adjust that back to a proper position?
