And that, just about sums it up. There is a slight difference no matter what, between how the clones are built and put together vs the original. You won't know the difference unless you've tried and worked with the real one in comparison. Sure it will work..but is it working at it's optimal performance level?!

I've seen and handled the clones/counterfeits at our local vapemeets. The build quality is different, and that is a simple fact.

I don't want to segregate the users with the clones/counterfeits but if this thread continues to disintegrate, I will simply ask that this be a thread where only the "Originals" are discussed, and a separate thread be created for clones/counterfeits of all types.

The choice at this time is for all of you to make.

Dust, I don't think the conversation has reached the point of disintegration. Just a minor difference of what the thread should be about. It was reeled in pretty quickly and cooler heads prevailed. My own opinion is discussion of genuine or knockoff should be permitted on this thread because comparative knowledge can be gained on both offerings that is useful for people. However, both the reader and writers of this thread should distinguish between the two offerings. I don't own a clone. I only have a genuine so I cannot compare on the quality issues except from what I have read from others. But I do somewhat subscribe to the patronage issues relative to rewarding the inventor for their creative designs that have significantly improved the vaping experience for so many of us. This issue alone makes me a loyal customer of genuine Svoemesto products. I do recognize that many would not have the opportunity to spring the $100 for a genuine product and clones are their only option other than going without. It's a sensitive topic but I think we can all handle it simply by distinguishing between the two offerings. I'd like to think we're all adults and can act accordingly. Separating the threads is an option, but I don't think it is necessary at this time.

Agree with you Bronze. I truly hope this thread continues as is. Bashing is not permited. But it's nice to know before you buy, if it's worth your hard earned money.

And for a buck a piece. Actually, April sent me a handful and I'm still on my first one too. Been a year now...like the 500 year supply of cotton ball wick and 750 year supply of kanthal wire I have.

I'm still trying to figure out how to put all my stuff in my will. I got enough for 9 lives and I ain't not cat. (yea pun intended to those who can understand).

Ok, a very simple question, from a complete newbie to kayfuns, and I really don't want to read 976 pages to find out if the answer has already been posted, and the search is no help whatever, I searched "kayfun filling" and got about 16 pages of results, and that's useless.

Is there any way at all to fill it, without having to spend 30 minutes afterward blowing out the flood so it won't gurgle?

I got the coil made, yay, though I probably should do another with lower resistance, but for the moment, the coil I made *is* working, even if it is 2.1 Ω.

Followed all the instructions from the Busardo video (kayfun lite vs. russian 91%) and got it all put back together, and I filled it the way he did, from the top. Nothing but gurgle, I must have wasted 2 or 3 ml of juice. So I spent about 20 mins blowing it out, FINALLY got it to where it would vape, and it's really nice, so I thought, well I'll fill it the *proper* way, from the screw on the bottom Did that, and again, nothing but gurgle, spent 15 mins blowing it out, still not done, but I thought hell with it, I need to ask somebody what I'm doing wrong here.

Any clues, tips, hints, secrets, ANYTHING that I should do differently, so it will stop doing this? I'd really rather inhale from it, than blow into it for the rest of the evening.

thx!!!

KFL has a fill-hole, and it is there for a purpose. Just fill thru it!

This Atty is a design marvel, no wonder a plethora of takes happened with it. SM had thought of every possible angle, thus the fill-hole. I have always filled thru it and this beauty has NEVER flooded. It cannot if you fill it from the bottom and maintain the "standard rule" of Attys: "fill 80% only always and every time".

I fill from the bottom and I never had an issue. It's supposed to be filled from the bottom.

Did you read my post? I *said* I filled it thru the bottom hole! That's the only fill hole on the thing! And I filled it only about 40% full! So why is it doing this?

Andria, what you are describing is a classic case of flooding due to the tank not being vacuum locked. Check your O-rings and if necessary take apart the pieces and make sure every section is tightly screwed down. The chimney section going into the top cap is the most common culprit.
