I'm always looking and trying new flavors too. I've spent a lot and and I can only find the 2 I use now that I like. I wish I liked more but I'm just too fussy and don't like anything.
im one of those who vapes like 5 different flavors in a day. if i just vaped 2 i would be burnt out on those pretty fast. even vaping the 5 flavors im constantly looking and buying new flavors, i just cant find that one juice thats awesome. even those 5 flavors that im vaping now, in a month i probably wont like those. its weird because when i was a smoker i was freaking happy with one flavor. i must have well over 100 juices in my vape cabinet, and thats not counting the ones i threw out in the past 2 years or so. still looking though!

for sure my friend. what wattages are you vaping? i have tried it that high before but felt like it lost a slight bit of flavor but i loved the TH.

I'm on a provari and have it between 3.7 and 4 V with a 1.1 ohm on this one - depends on the juice where I have the voltage. To me the flavor is great with a warm dense vape and allot of th.
I stick with really rich juices- custards, ry4, creams, a chocolate Sunday, vanillas, coffees, caramels... About the lightest flavor I use is suicide bunnies mother's milk.
Out of the coil set ups I've tried this is by far my favorite.

Yeah, tell me about it! Me likewise ~ I have at least 10 juices running concurrently ~ and 18 top-class Attys ;)

yah i don't ever think i will find a juice that i like so much and be able to vape it all day. maybe its that way for a reason, so i can buy more vape gear?

thats one way to warm up 13 watts. i tend to increase wattage to get the warmth, the lowest i do is also on my provari(1.3Ω @ 4.4v, maxed out) my fav though is a .9Ω dual @ 20watts on my dna. also have a couple kayfuns on my mechs around the .8Ω range. even at those wattages i don't feel like the vape is that warm tbh. i guess i just have gotten used to it, maybe next time i will try the "reach for the sky" build.

with those you really don't need glasses, its kind of like a pair of binoculars. i do however sometimes wear my readers with it, there is mega room, they just flip down over your readers and when you don't want to magnify you just flip up the visor. im blind as a bat believe me but these are a must for me, i could not do a single coil with just my readers alone.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm! :D I'd seen postings about this helping hands thingie, but don't think I'd heard of these magical specs before! In my crystal ball I see another trip to Harbor Freight! My husband will be mega-happy about that, it's like toys r us for him. :D Plus anything he buys there, he gets some kind of points for. I used to just humor him going there, since he always humored me at MicroCenter and many, many bookstores, but now I like HF about as much as he does! ;)

Thx!

hey TOny3, talking about suicide bunny, mothers milk, which i do vape, just ordered one flavor from their new line, i think its kings something or other. i ordered the one that is brown sugar, maybe custard and something else. have you tried that one?

No I haven't might have to look into it. The reason I vape the mothers milk, is that it's my girls favorite. What usually happens is; I'll get a bottle fill a tank and give her the rest, or she'll take it- lol
I really love 5pawns grandmaster- but at a dollar a ml it's just to rich for my blood. I'll usually go to smokecignals and get a few bottles of their ry4 and order some cosmic fog; church(chocolate Sunday) and milk n honey. Then I'll get a couple of bottle of desert flavors here and there.
I'm fact I just got a bottle last week from a new local company- it's ry4 with extra caramel and vanilla in it- damn is it good!

Thanks, makes me feel allot better about my refusal to bother with them.
I was on a personal quest for the perfect vape since October. Honestly I think I found it finally!
Not as hard as a dripper, no mess, but really vapes like a cigar smokes. I tried soooo many things getting to this point though. Luckily I found a shop that was way cool and let me try a bunch of stuff for a while then made the joke after I tried a kfun to look online because they were oos and the online prices were allot cheaper than they would charge. 80 bucks for a tobeco clone!!!! Then tried saying the build quality on the tobeco is just as good as a authentic- I've never seen a tobeco but I've heard some mixed reviews

A genny setup just scares me- open tank with a 5ml capacity- just can't end well
I'm really not a pessimist I can just see the outcome

I can't speak for all the tobeco products but my buddies tobeco KFL clone is the shoddiest piece of crap I've seen , bad threads and the chamber is machined very poorly , it doesn't seat on the deck properly , tried reversing it and same thing , it's a wonder it don't flood , bad airflow even with everything lined up properly and the AFC screw removed , for $80 dollars you should've told them you expect foreplay first ! :)

Hahaha at least a soda or a beer, right?
Yeah after all the times I got hosed when I first started vaping, I learned my lesson. Research research research before buying. I probably rubbed some people the wrong way asking so many questions. Just glad I didn't bite the hook on the tobecco or genny. Definitely happy with kfl clones I did buy though.
To me some of the b&m sales staff can act like used car salesmen. Push me to buy something and I'm immediately thinking in my head, "no where's the door"

There are no decent BM's in the New Orleans area , they are overpriced , populated with clueless twenty something subohming counter monkeys that probably have never seen a multimeter in their life , and their juices resemble a high school chemistry experiment gone wrong , the only exception to this is my buddy BK works part time at one of them and my visits there are social only , it's a dammed shame that a city known for it's cuisine has nothing but chemical crap being sold as eliquid .

Hahahahahaha thank you so much for comfirming that!!!!!! I was starting to think I was nuts.
I could tell you horror stories!!
If you've read some of my previous posts you've read some of them. I do go to vapors inn now, only because they are the only ones that sell suicide bunny and my girl loves the mothers milk. Once in a whole ill go to smokecignals because I do like their RY4. And there is a new one on Williams that I stumbled into on their grand opening and it happened to be the same time I was trying to learn how to build coils for the first time and they did help me out with learning.

But you are so right! I think it's such a new thing around here that most places are trying to hard to have that "image" rather than focus on what really counts.
    - saw you were chef, we may have worked together at some point.

It's possible that we did work together , we'll save that conversation for a PM , don't wanna completely hijack this thread , I'm spoiled by HHV's NET's so anything less just doesn't appeal to me , but we know better than most that taste is subjective , gotta run for now , the wife is complaining , I'll catch up with'ya feel free to PM me , later folks .

Exactly opposite my own experience with my tobeco kfl+ -- excellent product, well threaded and machined, never a leak that I didn't cause myself by over-priming the wick, never a burnt taste that I didn't cause myself by overwicking! I'm 100% thrilled with mine, could not be happier if it was solid gold and whistled yankee doodle dandy. Well... if it was solid gold I'd sell it and buy 10 more. :D

I'm glad you're happy with yours but I think there's always a chance of getting a bad clone from any chinese company and I've seen others with the same issues with that particular tobeco clone posting on ECF about it , just hope your luck holds up . I'm not anti - clone , I have HCigars and Fasttech clones but I won't hesitate to post negative remarks about any equipment I purchase if I have an issue with it .

Yawn. Bad kayfun day today. Getting a weird plastic(?) smell no matter what I do. Gonna soak my atty in some isoprop and see how it is.

Unless it's smth to do with my cotton. Hmm.

Oh yes, inotfat here. Had to change my username for some silly reason. Grumbles

I had wondered about this; the pics you all post, the coils look so tidy, so straight and neat and every wrap touching... I can't imagine how you all get them so perfect. Mine look nothing like that, even when brand spanking new, but they seem to work.

    Here's the one I'm using right now... 1.8 Ω, 6 wraps 30ga on 3/32 drillbit...

    [SNIP]

I can only hope that I will get better at coil building, maybe when I get those ceramic tweezers so I can actually hold it WHILE it's firing, because trying to mash it together the very instant I take my finger off the fire button just isn't working for me, I shake, I can't get the points of the needle-nose where I want them; I can't judge if the needle-noses are at the same distance from my eyes as the coil, because I don't want them to be too close, lest I shake enough to touch the coil while it's firing and short everything out.

    *sigh*

For shaky hands, the Aristic Wire Coiling Gizmo works wonders. They probably have it in your local hobby store as well. One benefit of using tension while coiling on the Gizmo is that you don't normally have to pulse- or torch-n-squeeze. I know you have problems with videos, but this one by super_X_drifter of Micro Coil thread shows it in action.

Before getting that gizmo, I used a drill bit inserted into a pin vise. Some folks used a Luer Lock needle tip. Either would be better than a bare drill bit since they have an edge or something you can coil right up against or push against after coiling. I still keep a dental pick or some sort of pick with a 1/16" shaft in my out & about kit just in case I have to coil one up out there. But at home, I use the gizmo.

Yes I've got one exactly like that. The magnifier is useful; the alligator clips aren't really strong enough to hold anything, like holding a mod in place.

    Andria

For hands free light and magnification, I don't mess around: Amazon.com - Daylight Slimline Magnifying Lamp - Desk Lamps I have a cheap magnifing visor that fits on my head, but it's a bit of a pain - literally. It works OK, but I really like that magnifier lamp.

I do have a third hand for solder work, but don't use it much for coils. Before getting the coiling gizmo, I sometimes held and torched the coil in the locking tweezers that come with http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y085QO/
