actually the fogger cannot really accommodate wick tails in the channels, at least the version I have doesn't. with my fogger you basically have to set the wick tails just on the channel holes with maybe a few cotton fibers ever so gently tucked just in the top .5mm. this is just to secure them though, because if you actually place the tails down, you will get dry hits. maybe if these channels were bored out like the aqua tank, then that would be another story. now talking about the aqua, these channels are fairly big and deep, and is mandatory to actually place the entire wick tail down into them. this is imo, a great design and it works and wicks phenomenally. I had my kayfuns for quite some time before purchasing the aqua and after seeing just how great the aqua wicked, I thought about the same question you just asked. although I never had wicking issues with the kayfun, I was bored and figured that if I widened the vertical channels in the kayfun I could run my wick tails just like the aqua (or as you were thinking the fogger)just to see how much juicier the vape would be. I started on one of my kayfuns and widened to a point where I thought it was enough, I then tried the configuration and it didn't work. after one more round and a few more bits, I tried it once again to no avail. stepping back and comparing the depth of the aqua's channels to my now modded kayfun, I was only about half way and I decided not to continue. to make a long story short, this is why one of my kayfuns has extra wide channels, it was to emulate an aqua. after vaping this kayfun, and noticing a slightly juicier vape, I then modded a second kayfun to match, these are now the kayfuns I dedicate to sub ohm builds. I may try again and continue what I initially had in mind just like a lot of other ideas I have with the kayfuns. but to actually answer your question, the kayfuns vertical channels are not wide enough to slide a wick down and wick properly. if they were however, and you also enlarged the horizontal channel (maybe) and played around with wick tail placement, I do think it could work. the question would be possibly over wicking. in the aqua there is a juice control, this controls how much of the tails are being exposed by raising or lowering the chimney off the base.
