Tomorrow is day three with my kfl, working perfectly thanks to you all, and also day 30 of no cigarettes. How can one go back to cigarettes with all of this good flavor...

I had a coil in my KFL last more than 5 months...about 450 - 500mls of juice.

I had to read that twice lol.

I've been changing mine every week. Then again im still 'new' so the novelty hasn't worn off....yet

i tried the stationary magnifiers and didn't quite like them because, well because there just that, stationary. i then tried the visor thingamajigs and really like it. cheap too.

I just looked on eBay and got one from Hong kong. It's very 'plasticie' and cheap but does have a light on it and does the job pretty well. Makes a big differnce and highly recommended for us older vapers

2 problems I see.

1) The cotton should not extend past the top of the coil. That will cause flooding.
2) The bottom of your coil should be touching the base of the mounting area to reduce the chance of juice getting in that way. There's NO reason to raise the coil up off that surface.

Looooove grandmaster!! Im turning into a bit of a five pawns fan. Do try gambit as well as that's such a smooth vape. Just bought some castle long reserve. Heard so many good things about it i had to give it a try. If the smell from the bottle is anything to go by i won't be disappointed. Still haven't unwrapped it yet but will do tomorrow ;) image.jpg

I love it too, so much better experience not using the kanger tanks too. I got a new bottle of castle long (non reserve) I'm going to start with my next re-wick. Have a great day.

You're not changing the wick AND the coil every time you re-wick are you? The coil just needs to be rinsed, dry-burned and a new wick inserted.

Grin. I think pretty much once you've started getting a decent or good vape, you'll never wanna go back to ciggies again.

Thanks finagle69, I will fix those suggested problems.

Sucks getting old, huh?

I'm 44 and I wear contacts. I had to start using reading glasses a few years ago. Weird thing is, without contacts, I dont' need reading glasses. I might have to try one of those visor things.

I'm also getting a rDNA 40. The 40 watts is the least attractive feature to me.
Same here, with my contacts in I need readers, if i take out my contacts I can see really really good close up.

Mine are 10 dollar specials from harbor freight and have the light as well (although they don't work) but they are comfy and work great. I thought about getting a really good pair but these plastic-y ones are all you need. I wear them so much, sometimes I forget there on and walk around the house with them.

Good thing you don't put on women's clothes when you rebuild. :)
