How long have you been waiting? They told me it usually takes 2-3 weeks which isn't really unreasonable from Germany but if you've been waiting significantly longer than that, that's not acceptable. I wouldn't really think of those 20% increments as being literally 20% of the journey, it's just going to be frustrating.

Mine took 3-days, from Germany (InTaste). Shipped on July 1st -- at my door on the 3rd :)

I ordered a day or 2 before you did I think.

On the 9th, just going to have to be patient I guess...

FWIW I placed my orders on the 1st and 2nd of July. Both are still at 60% progress with one package still sitting at IPZ-FFM (Customs)

for clarification, the above posts.. waiting for shipment. These LITES are coming from what supplier? My LITE came in 1 week, with a US customs hold from Intaste. I placed another order with Intaste yesterday morning. Mondays order from Intaste will be on my porch today (digital signiture on FedEx web site). Hope every one has a great hump day!!

    Ya, digitalscam....

Its just crazy how slow dhl is and cost $37, I expected it to take a week.... but a month or more is crazy considering intaste can get it here as fast as a US vender for way cheaper.

Oh well, ill have my kayfun conversion kit saturday and looks like i will have alot of time to play with it and build an opinion on it before the real kfl comes.

That's fantastic for you. I'd like to see the averaged shipping time between you and the people with their packages still sitting at customs. Intaste was just too sketchy for me.

Yeah, I decided to change avatars. I was getting tired of the other one. That's Brutus, my African Grey.
I'm anxious to set up the kayfun. I have some ekowool I plan on using. Not sure what size yet. I have 3 sizes. I'll probably go with 2mm first. Not really sure of what resistance to shoot for either. From what I hear, they run a little hotter than mesh genys. Any thoughts? I'm thinking around 1.2 ohms on mechanical. With mesh genys, I run .8 or .9 usually.

my best friend used to have a grey, that bird was so smart I couldn't believe it. well my first set up on the lite was 2.5mm german silica, so I suppose it is very close to the eco wool you are going to use. like you I was told they hit a little harder then genesis so I set it up on the provari @ 1.3Ω with I believe was 29g. the vape was very good but just didn't have the kick that my genny had at sub ohm. the next set-up I did was also on the silica, but this time went to 28g and 1- ohm on mechanical, this was maybe a little better. you know this was the first set-up that I have done without ceramic in some time so I just wasn't to happy with the flavor of the silica so I tried one of those micro coils and cotton. imo the cotton was way better in flavor then the silica, I mean it was just as good as the porous ceramic so I left it in and scrapped the silica. also the micro coil is a much faster vape compared to the silica, so all around, for my style of vaping the micro coil & cotton seemed much better then the silica coil. after having this kayfun for a couple of days I received a reo mod that I ordered, also have it set up like the kayfun. this reo with the rm2 atty is a very nice set-up and is starting to be my favorite device. the current set-up I have in the kayfun is 26g, 8 wraps at 1/16 diameter with cotton, resistance at 0.6 to 0.7Ω. I believe this to be the best vape I had so far with it. between the kayfun & reo my genesis devices are not being used any more. I love 2 things about these new devices, no leaking issues compared to genesis and no juice darkening at all, the flavor is constant all the way through. all in all I think the kayfun is very close in performance to a genesis device, I don't really see it running ant hotter then a ceramic set-up, don't really remember how it compares to mesh though, its been a while.

Here is my Intaste FedEx tracking... This is why i was asking who was waiting for LITE's? I know the second batch sent out from Intaste had German customs issues. As far as i know those problems are out of Intaste's hands. I hope to have another LITE here friday. If not, Monday is fine for me. Was VR LITE more $ then Intaste's?

I really love micro coils and cotton in my drippers, what cotton did you use in your kfl? Any pics?

I use rolled cotton but the wicks have to be really skinny to fit in the micro coil.... wondering if rolled cotton will work or if I should try this square braid cotton wick I have that I havnt played with yet

We actually have 2 Greys. One is attached to me. The other one favors the missus. Unbelievable how smart they are.
Anyhoo...Thanks for the info. It gives me a starting point. I'll probably shoot for somewhere around 1.0 ohm, to start. Or else, maybe I'll set up my first one on a Provari, at 1.2 or so, and see what wattage I like, before I set one up on a mechanical.
