been looking for another mechanical mod but I don't really like the bottom switches so the roller looks like a nice choice.

I really like the build quality of the Greek mods. The Roller is a good one; as is the Poldiac and the Atmomixani 69. Of the three, I like the Poldiac.

I now see it is a provari and if its a version 2, the most a 2.2 ohm coil would be is 14.5 watts at 2.5 amps. anything over 4.2 volts on the v-2 is limited to 14.5 watts, and at 5.6volts and a 2.2 ohm coil the amperage is 2.5 amps. if your looking for the max wattage & amps a 1.3 to 1.4 ohm coil is best, this will give you 15 watts and 3.5 amps. did you try the 1 ohm coil on the provari? if so the max you will get from this resistance is about 12 watts. the only way to generate 15 watts on a 1-ohm coil is on a mechanical mod or a dna -20, afaik. anyways this is why the micro coils are great, a hi resistance coil does sort of perform like a sub ohm set up, and your comparison kind of shows it. if you did this comparison on a genny, the results wouldn't be the same

If there ever was a test to see if you're a vaping geek... this is it! I read what you wrote above and understood exactly what you are saying... I guess I'm a vapegeek LOL

that's really a nice mod, is it fully mechanical? or an unprotected mod?

The SW is from Super T and the best machining is some of the best I've ever seen. I'd say it is fully mech but others may not. There are no electronics but there is a switch with a lead to the connector. There were 115 sold and never to be made again. He has talked about doing another 26650 mod in the future. The SW is the size of a SB with a 26650 inside.

I'm not a big fan of bottom buttons either and I have 2 'velas :) The Roller is great and a super smooth fire button.

I'd love to have gotten a shockwave.. that flat bottom looks nice. I've never been too interested in the bottom buttons because I primarily use (or used) genesis devices and didn't want to have to worry about turning if off to set it down each time. I don't like the side pinky buttons either, I sold my EA because it wasn't comfortable to use. I do like my moneypenny though.

But the button on the Roller..

i was filling my kayfun upside-down. i wasnt paying attention and juice leaked out the drip tip and air hole. overfilled. using my quick thinking i got a napkin and covered the air hole and blew out juice from the bottom fill hole. screwed the bottom fill screw and wrapped it up with more napkins and left my mod on its side and went out for dinner. came back home and found that the kayfun leaked out just enough juice to regulate itself. didn't even have to open it up and fiddle with it. it fixed itself. the juice stopped exactly at the top of the plastic window. gotta love the KL!

I think the first people I really considered vape geeks were these kids I saw hanging out in a brick n mortar vape store oohing and ahhing as people would bring in their unicorns while shopping for juice.

After vape bliss, I locked the LUX, and passed out. Woke up this morning and decided to remove the KL from the mech only to notice a small (very small) drop of juice on the top cap. As I'm sure I tightened down the fill screw, I guess it's possible it needs to be tighter?

I get that with mine, occasionally. It probably amounts to less than a drop. I don't even worry about it.

It could well might have trickled down from a weeping/sweating air-hole. Have u seen any moistness in the fill-screw? My 2 KFLs never leak from the fill-holes, even if I've not screwed it tightly.

GM to you Q! I didn't notice any moisture around the fill screw; although, I did notice some moisture on the bottom of the KL. You may be on to something with your response. After making that post, I did unscrew/screw the fill screw again to be sure I had it set right, and gave it an extra snug.

Thought: I haven't received my flat top cap yet, so I'm using the slotted. That being said, do you think the bottom of the deck would sweat being exposed to air? Seems unlikely, but was just a random thought I had. Now that I think more, it happened overnight when the device wasn't in use, so the deck wouldn't be warm. Nonetheless, I am not discouraged in the least by the operation of the KL.

Ok, i had a little free time yesterday morning.
Here is LITE in large mode, then a tear down of parts.
LITE_LARGE_MODE_1.34-coil.jpgguncky-coil.jpgLITE_LARGE_MODE-parts.jpgLite performed, just ok for the past week. Looking at the coil & wick... guncky. This was no micro coil... next stop micro coil and cotton.
    LITE_LARGE_MODE.jpgLITE_micro-coil.jpg
I just use a rubber band on the air hole for service. Otherwise i would have fluid all over the place.
guess i ran out of picture space in this post, on to post #2
