Grats on the KFL. You'll love it. I personally don't own a mechanical for around a $100, but I'm sure others do or could recommend one. I favor the GP line..

I'm certain with the right adapters, see above, the KFL would look great on just about anything.

There's the KFL/LUX combo I posted awhile back. Good luck!
I was actually looking at the GP SS because it looks like a perfect match, but having no success finding one to buy. I appreciate the response! Waiting on final step of verification so I can check the classies here for a GP or something,Nemesis?

yes, but after 2 days the upper o-ring will swell & fail. My solution is a protank coil seal... I posted this a few days back. I vape pluid & grenada in my LITE. But now, recovering from knee surgery... gennie + ceramic, sitting at home. When i go out, the LITE is in my pocket.

Where can you get the seals?

I have old Protank coils laying around. pulled the wick seal off & its same as upper o-ring, but it has a skirt. Still working in my LITE over 7 days, no leaks. Running Grenada.
Order one protank coil from DV. Or just go into a B/M ask for a Protank coil. Might get the seal free. I might have an xtra one laying around here.

So, my KFL arrived yesterday from Intaste...3 days delivery to hawaii....impressive. They included a bag full of spare seals, extra refill screws (3)...the screwdriver and some other spare screws.

Can't believe how easy the micro coil/cotton build is....first attempt did 11/12 wraps 28g on a 1/16 drill bit came out at 1.2ohm.
Seems pretty easy if you just follow vapedivr's video..vaping it a hour now...no dry hits yet...i did make the tails go down the side, then along the ledge a good bit.

Wow, this thing hits like a ton of bricks...coming from protanks and clearomisers, this thing is like the protank magnified 10x , and the flavor is probably double strong.

The KFL hits so strong, I'm gonna have to lower my nic on all my juice orders now. I have been vaping 18mg on all my juices, and this gets me dizzy taking these big killer hits-It really seems to magnify the the flavor and the nicotine! I get so much vapor I'm actually coughing a bit, a first for me on e-cigs. I must control myself, but this thing is so fun to vape these huge vapor clouds.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

***I have found a major concern, and I have'nt seen it addressed here yet, maybe it has.

    - The air inlet hole is on the side of the tank, and using a 18350 battery sized mechanical, my finger will block the hole if I'm not carefull.

If you do this, it will flood the atty, and gurguling will continue for 10-15 more pulls. Not really a big deal as I don't get any juice in my mouth and it still hits/tastes fine, (JC West says it may leak if you do this) but its frustrating because I have to constantly remind myself when I pick it up and take a pull, to NOT cover that hole with my finger. (maybe i just need to get used to holding it, and figure out a grip that will leave my fingers away from it?)

^ I noticed JC West also mentioned this occurance in his KFL review on youtube...He'd let his friend take a pull, and almost everyone would cover that intake air hole, and flod the .... out of it.

Maybe I'm gonna have to get a longer tube on my mechanical and run 18650 mode then my fingers wont be getting close to that hole because it will be a longer unit altogether. But I really like running it in the compact stealthy 350 battery size. Any of you have that same problem?

Other than that, this thing is killer-

Notice the air hole, if I'm not careful my finger covers it easily, I use my pinky to fire. I like to hold it this way, Its so comfortable, but its so small its fits inside my hand! Maybe I need longer battery/tube!

Yeah, I do that every once in a while. I'll inadvertently plug the air hole with my index finger wrapped around the top of the mod. Fortunately, I usually catch myself before I take a big drag.

Thanks Rule62, I followed your build, qorax (and vapedivrs video) since you used 28g kanthal and had great success, all I have at the moment is 28g otherwise I would've used 26 like vapedivr.....worked perfect, thanks man!

I've been meaning to try 26g, but I don't have any. I have some on order from Temco, but it's back ordered. But the 28g works very well.

I ended up cancelling my KFL order. The Swedish site I ordered from was on a month long vacation when I ordered it and have been dying to get my hands on one of these. I happened to hit a certain site up in California last night and they were in stock :). I hope they ship it out soon so I can get it in my hands. I figure I'll be alright though with all the Igo-L's that I have and the GP spheroid.

Since getting my Papa Lux and Kayfun Lite, I've actually changed the way I hold and fire my devices. For longer mods in 18650 mode I can still fire them with the little pinky.

But for the Lux/Lite in 18350 mode, I hold the tube with thumb, index and middle fingers. Then fire the button with my ring finger, using my little finger as a support. It's really comfortable this way, no chance of blocking the airhole and I find I do this automatically now whenever I pick up the Lux.

Give it a try, You can push the Lux button really easily with your finger joint - sorry I can't post phots at the moment.

Thank you, went ahead and picked up a set of 5 from DV and a ProTank II. I thought "why not, I'm buying the heads and only need one sleeve".

I hold my Paps differently than I hold all my other mods, even my Nemesis. The Paps switch is so easy, I can just hold the tube in my finger tips, and press the switch with my little finger. Most of the others, I hold farther down in my hand, basically where my fingers meet my palm. Even the Nemesis, which has a very nice switch, i operate with the first joint on my ring finger..

That's what I love so much about the Lux, the switch is so easy to fire, almost like a touch sensor. It's the only device I can hold constantly and still feel comfortable.
