Similar vacuum feed design as the KFL. Funky portals for viewing the tank, sorta matches my Uma. I'll be building it when I get home tonight.

Nice looking!!! I was looking at that SQUAPE last month. Now in stock at InTaste. Please post what you think of the device. Does it have air flow control?
I found : via lateral opening with the 510er – threaded connection.
So looks like bottom airflow.. I would say the PAPSX will love this

wow.. I didn't even realise that about air flow. It's a small slot in the bottom, and yah, the opening in the 510 connection. Super tight draw even when it's not mounted. hmm

Edit: at least it's not any tighter while flush mounted on the Poldi. Reviews say it's hits like the KFL. We shall see.

Also, sorry about the thread hijack. Only posted here cos I have a KFL and I wanted a similar design, but unique looking for the Uma.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program :p

I am waiting for a Russian 91% I think qorax has one in hand. I dont think its out of line in the thread. These devices are all family, or so far it looks like they are very close in design. I hope its as simple to set up as the LITE. My 3 lites all perform great! But sitting at home i still use my Stratus22 gennie. My LITES do not leak and perform great, so i carry them into the world with me.

Sweet. Looks brushed to me, though. Not a mirror polished finish?

There's no "family" when it comes to ripoffs IMO.

I just wanted to ask you guys if you have any observations about how the kayfun handles flying ?
Yesterday I was on a car trip and there was a 15 km hillclimb. somewhere in the middle point I've noticed that there was quite a bit juice leaking from the airhole.

Judging from my experience flying with my current tanks which are also bottom coiled I would say it is best to either leave them empty or make sure that the tanks are upside down while the plane climbs to keep the juice away from the air feeds. I took 4 flights a month ago and during the first flight I was none the wiser, opened My Ego case to a huge mess. I spent half an hour at the terminal using napkins from the nearest airport restaurant cleaning all my tanks and soaking up juice from my Ego case. It dawned on me that there is a huge pressure differential inside the plane even if the cabin is pressurized, my 3 sensor Casio Pro-Trek watch read 1010 MBar at the airport and 730 MBar at cruising altitude. The next flight I kept my tanks upside down during the climb and I only got some spurts from my mouthpiece from the juice that was on the coil and wicks themselves. The two return flights I plugged the mouthpieces with some rolled up napkins and kept them upside down during the climb with the plugged mouthpieces and I had no issues at all.

I would say this will happen with ANY tank system unless the airflow can be completely shutoff like an Ithaka, and even then the air inside the tank will still want to push out through the mouthpiece. My common sense tells me that the best devices to fly with would be un-tanked cartos, drippers of spheroids as the wicks/filler would hold the juice in place.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Finely built, exactly like the Kayfuns, looks quality product & expensive. Comes in a nice, well made packaging. I understand the clone issue,;) but keeping that aside - this device offers a very classy feel on it's own! I especially like the engravings, which they aren't, seem to be laser etched graphics and coated over alongwith the complete device in one clear finish. You cannot feel the edges, while the writings are super clear. Bottomline: Looks Awesome, I love it!

Well somehow my KFL just started working perfect. The last build I did had a few dey hits here and there, I didn't change a thing and all day today its been amazing, I made sure I didn't fill it up all the way but I think filling it, so when its upright, the juice is just level with the top of the clear part seems perfect.

Anyone having issues maybe try not filling it as much!?

Ooooh... Ahhh... Mine just moved from it's initial location in NYC. Come on KFL!! COME TO PAPA!!

EDIT: On my current tanks with micro coils and cotton I'm sometimes getting hit on the tongue with specs of what feels like juice sizzling onto it. I didn't get this when running the standard sylica wicks. Could these be little bits of cotton getting spit into my mouth? I don't feel anything solid around the area I get the sensation, just wondering...
