I emailed Intaste and asked about the screw driver key chain. They said it's not included as part of the Kaifun Lite package from the manufacturer. They include it as a gift and they were out of stock, so they couldn't include it with my order.

My KFL from InTaste didn't include the driver... o well.

I learned today that the default KFL o-rings and Pluid don't get along. Any suggestions on a good o-ring material to use with Pluid? I know the ring is 5x1.5mm, but I'm not sure if I should get Viton, Silicone or something else.

Keep your current wick/coil in it so I can see if there is something amiss.

Will do....it's not the greatest coil, but it works when it gets juice. :)

Wondering if you tried non-DIY juice in your Kayfun? And have you vaped the DIY successfully in another device? Some of these DIYs are not filtered very well and they gunk up coils rapidly.

I've haven't had store bought juice in my house for over 2 years, so.....nope. No NETs, but my ADV (DK TAB) has a high sugar content and does gunk up coils pretty fast....however, that has nothing to do with my issue with the KFL.

Info Request:
Guys, is there a Kayfun/Taifun type Silica Atty out there in 20mm OD? I need a few badly for my lovely new acquisition, see below:

No button, no clicking, just touch. Point Touché Mod by Vio3D :) Courtesy: Vapor Wall

Kafun performs very well with 3mm silica but not as good as with cotton. Make sure you get quality silica from silicawick or so. One roll I've got from Ebay tastes like wet socks.

No I do not make my own juice. But I have been sent lots of DYI and I see sediment in the bottom of the bottle and when I dump it, the particles remain on the bottom and have to be shook out of there with an intense water agitation.

My DIY juice is clear as it gets. Never had any sediment or particles. One coil I rebuilt after more than a month of heavy usage only because it startet to taste a bit different. I guess you have to ditch those guys, they might cut corners pretty badly.

Oh no, Kayfuns work exceptionally with Cotton builds as well. Yes, so it does with anything you throw at it. All my Kayfuns & the Russian are lately loaded with Cotton (since Vapdvrr happened;))

Nice. Sadly I'm done with Gennys since Kayfuns happened;). IMHO, brickbats welcome, they are no match for Kayfuns and the like/s. These are outright winners - mainly b'coz of their ease of use & simple maintenance.

Totally agree with the Kafuns, just looking with ya on something streamline for your 20mm OD....what mod is that...?

Yep, a topper in that size is hard to find. The closest would be one of those carto-tanks at 19+mm loaded with my Diver. Or I should continue with the Spheroids (ditto vape as the Kayfuns), though they are 16mm.

Oh, that's a Point Touché Mod by Vio3D. All 24K gold internals, any image of our like would be engraved by the modder, those engravings have silver in it;) and a perfectly firing 'touch' sensor!

Maybe they should just call you and straighten themselves out.

Filtration is an important step in the processing of NETs. If you are making NETs and they are unfiltered and clean, then the Gods are looking down on you. :)

I find they work equally well. But as I always say, my opinion is worth what you paid for it. :)

Just wondering people's thoughts on using the plastic tanks with juice that has cracking potential. When I look at the list of all the known juice bases, it takes a lot of my juice off the table for the plastic tank. Most of my juices have some kind of fruit base. Plus Pluid, Grenada etc. I never had a tank crack. Is it really something that I have to follow to protect this tank? Disappointing because I like the look of the plastic tank much more then the all steel setup.

Yes, these devices, Kayfuns, Taifun GT, Squape, are game changers, for sure. I'm slowly retiring my genys, although I'll probably continue using my DIDs.

My 3 month review of the Kayfun Lite.

To start, I was very nervous spending over a hundred bucks on a device. Being budget minded and having inconsistent results on my Ego - Evod and Protank setups. I ventured into the inexpensive Igo W and started playing with coils and cotton. Had success dripping but needed a tank for longer runs, I of course looked at everything under the sun and chose the KFL. Boy did I choose right. It has been 3 months of utter bliss. Hardly use my drippers, though I dressed them up nicely with fauxgatti caps.

Things I've learned over the past 3 months:

KFL's love micro and cotton, though I'm sure they probably run everything well.

Dark juices gunk coils, every couple of tanks, dry burn and rewick.

Light juices can go for what seems forever. The light juice I'm running now, after about 6 tanks I decided to burn and rewick. The cotton was as pristine as it was on day one, not even a scorch mark under the coil. Oh well, will know better next time.

As for anyone on the fence about it's ease of use. I have to say it's as easy as any RBA out there. The learning curve, if any is tiny and if you read through this thread as I did and still do. When it arrives in the mail, you'll have it up and running in no time.

I was still having an analog every now and then while dripping, though my smoking was reduced drastically. I never had the satisfaction after a vape until my KFL arrived. Smoke free since about day 3 with the Lite.

I'm currently running 9/10 wrap - 28awg micro/cotton w/ 1/16th ID...soaking up some Deadly Sin from Goodlife Vapor.

A sincere thanks to all contributors in this thread. I feel without your knowledge and insight my vaping experience wouldn't be near as pleasurable as it is today.

A quick pic of my life savers.
