Just GG Brass/Ithaka, 69+Brass Kit/kayfun Lite, King SS/SQuape, Nemesis Kalafan/kayfun 3.1ES Delta, Poldiac Full Satin/kayfun Lite,
Bagua SS/Kayfun 2.1 Mini
The Ithaka and the SQuape are HEAVY contenders to the Kayfun series....although IMHO nothing beats the Kayfun 3.1ES...

Would you just get random dry hits? Mine works good sometimes then I'll walk upstairs then dry hit. Works good, then dry hit.

that was exactly the problem. It was driving me insane.

like I said, could be that i switched out the plastic tank, or the new coil, or the new wick, or the new orings.

But its workin now.

So... about those post screws...

Super noob move.

measured entire screw instead of from the bottom of the head to the tip,
as you are wont to do.

So they WILL fit in the - terminal.
But I have to take a mm off half of them.

I've successfully made the cut on 3 of them, just figuring out the fastest way to bang em out
without ruining someones threads.

Anyone have any micro screw cutting experience?
I did a googling search and saw a few methods.

Hello again, I posted a couple pages back . I have a feeling it was not noticed, but I was wondering if anyone of you Kanfun-iacs know if replacement parts are sold for the Kayfun lite. I was wanting to get just the base/ deck with the terminals.
Thanks, I hope they do.
I've never seen those parts for sale anywhere. You might try to talk to the folks at vaperev as they seem to be the official usa vendor.

thanks. yes whatever your used to that's what you should do, if your used to doing dry burns, than silica is it. for me I like the cotton, I just feel its safer. silica is fiberglass, and that just doesn't sound good. I have tried silica, and remember those fibers. they just seemed to remind me of doing some patch work on a boat hull once. anyways this is whats rebuildables are all about, you can try so many different builds. good luck

I found a thread that discusses this at length although after 5000 posts I haven't found any definitive & conclusive answers.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/284030-wick-materials-safe-vs-dangerous.html

I live vicariously through other rba'ers and I'm still using this German Silica from RTD because I haven't tried cotton yet. Besides, a hot coil will kill any RHP transmitted diseases! Stick a pin in it - wrap a coil - job done. prepare it!! with what - a pep-talk? I like to give my wick 'n wire pep-talks, folks :p

it's this weird thing with my buddy and cotton wool wicks, i.e. they are crap and don't last! 'oh but it only takes 2 mins to change them (and use another 5ml of juice to wet them)'

My buddys preferred wicking material is XC-116 ceramic wick. (Kiln-treated per 3M specs)

I'll be getting my XC-116 here:

Pardon me if this has been asked before but what are the differences between the Kayfun V3.1 Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, and Brushed? They are the same price at intaste, is it just the finish? I'm on the waiting list for KFL.

RHP

Those are just finish differences. I currently have:

3.1 Delta = Polished
3.1 Beta = Matte

I find no other differences between them besides the finish.

Edit: of course, the Kayfun Lite is always brushed finish.

Someone did answer your question a few posts back, I believe.

As stated though, the types of replacement parts you are requesting are not available for purchase to my knowledge. You would need to purchase an entire device to access replacement parts such as the deck/posts, etc.

Thanks Digitals, my GP hero. I am currently on the waiting list at Vape Rev & inTaste both for the KFL. Normally waiting lists are a bummer for me because I'm only impatient when I have money. Now after laying down so much coin on some brand new quality Mechanicals I'm broke as a joke.

Folks, I even tapped my mum to help me buy some laser slotted Boges and I'm a grown ... man! Don't worry though, I'll pay her back eventually (guilty conscious for being a jerk in my youth).

And then when Digitals led me to Vape Rev and I heard Dusty D mention here about inTaste.de, I feel like a kid in a candy store. Well, once I have money again. Now I need to consider selling in the classeys which I've been putting off for the longest time!
