i don't understad why I don't have this same problem on similar atomizers (taifun, aqua) with this exact setup, just KFL

or something not screwed down all the way? how are you filling it?

You arent laying your cotton on the decks to catch the excess. Liquid is pooling in the chamber and then getting spat in your mout.

Mout your coil diagonally and lay the cotton tails from one end of the deck to the other.

it's actually KFL+ so I filling it via screw from bottom.
O-rings are ok. One between bottom part and tank and another small one between tank and chimney inside.

Is the draw really tight? Blocked air hole perhaps? I've had juice in my mouth when it was flooding. Try blowing through the drip tip instead and clear the excess juice out.

Is the draw really tight? Like maybe something is in the air path somewhere causing restriction.

I wonder if the top cap to chimney tube isn't sealing??? Really any oring that allows air into the tank could cause an issue, but I would think it would flood as well sucking juice.

I'm sticking with a restriction in the air path somewhere.

It's really stock as I received it and I don't have it long so it's shouldn't be damaged o-ring.
I have air flow open to full as I like very loose draw but even on full open it's little tight for me so maybe I am stronger in sucking than o-ring Will try to experiment with this tomorrow too.

brand new MNKE is down to 3.7 volts from a fresh charge after about 2-3 hours of heavy vaping using a dual coil .8 ribbon 0.3ohm build....does that sound right? when do u recharge? 3.7?

Probably pretty close. My Sony runs 3-4 hours @ 0.5 ohms today. I usually charge at around 3.7v as I can really tell the difference in how it hits, taste.

I agree about your cotton needs to lay across deck I lay it across the full deck both sides not blocking channels never had a issue then

ok....so because the amperage is lower using 0.5ohms u r getting another hour or so...
makes sense.....today i finally got an MNKE and AW 1600 for my 0.3ohm dripper....what a difference..
was using aw2000 before, it would push it but drop off real fast.....

i wanna take better care of the new batts i got today....do you recharge right after ur down to 3.7 or is it better to wait a bit after use before recharging?

I wait on and off the charger. Never use right off the charger and never charge fresh off the mod (usually pretty warm).

Your batteries should break in a little over the first few charge/discharge cycles. You should notice an increase in vape time after they break in.

Ok, got back home from a long day about an hour ago and I came home to find my Kick2, 28awg Kanthal, 510->Ego adapter and a wider bore Ohman Elad Shorty drip tip. First of all the wider bore on this Ohman drip tip (made to fit the chimney right trough it to fit a Nano Mod in the future) fixed the slightly tighter draw of the KFL+ when fully open compared to the KFL so thats a definite bonus.

But now on to what really has me excited! I ripped out my 30awg builds from both my Kayfuns and made 2.5mm OD 28awg 1.5ohm 9 wrap micro coils for both of them and wicked them with a nice fact piece of cotton compared to what I could fit on the 2mm OD coils I was using before. Before doing so I tested the Kick2 from 9ish to 15 watts with the 30awg builds I had on them and anything higher than 10watts gave a burnt taste. Now with the new bigger coils these bad boys are kicking ... at 15watts maxed out on the Kick2! No burnt flavor, tons and tons of vapor and the flavor is through the ROOF!!

And even better I seem to have found the PERFECT build configuration for my Neme clone mod + Kayfuns + FusionsMods Hybrid Adapters. With the Kick2 I don't even need the delrin spacer that came with the hybrid adapters and without the kick ring. The switch sat PERFECTLY a bit past the edge of the main tube so there is no chance of the button catching and not firing! I'm so friggin happy right now!!!

Now I know I really want another Kick2 for my 2nd Neme Clone! (still in transit along with my HHV NET juice order)



As a bonus the performance of my EVODs running at 15watts kicked with the 2ohm 30awg coils I have in them is impressive to say the least! The only downer being that I need to use the kick ring and stock top cap that came with the mod so I'll have to carry those around to power the EVODs but the fact that they are working so well at this power level with no burnt taste and tons of flavor and vapor has me in vaping nirvana right now! And the EVOD's being stainless with chromed base makes them look pretty slick on the Neme!

Chain vaping mode until I run down my fresh 18350, I want to see how long this lasts before hitting the cutoff voltage at full power! I'll post pics once I'm over my excitement!
