I've tried this loop-over method a couple different ways finagle, the one that seems to work the best at not tightening up the draw is the basic one I posted pics of, when I brought the wicks all the way over and back down air flow was definitely restricted...it's a less is more kinda thing, and a little more coil height helps as well.

Skittles...my only suggestion would be, since you have no airflow control...use less wicking material and not surround the vent hole to much, after my wick loops back up from the deck I like to see a little separation in the wick loop where it touches the deck. I took this pic before I opened the wick loop...if the deck loop isn't closed off it helps.

just purchased and received the dingo mod with an 18650 tube, looks real nice with the lite. to celebrate this set up am going to try this sort of round micro coil in the lite. well its not really round but does kind of make a small hole in the center. supposedly you make a small coil around the drill bit, maybe 4 wraps, after the 4 wraps you make a space then 4 more wraps, space then 4 more, and finally a space then 4 more wraps. next angle the little coils so they make, or come around in a circle. well its more like a diamond. seen it in a dripper so I may have to make it a dual coil so the wire leads can connect. anyways it sounds like some thing a little different. will take some photos and let you all know if its something that works good.

diamond coil! so what build are you using these days vapdivrr still using the single vertical coil / carto build? Vapdivrr I have an aqua but I don't like setting up my coils and stuff on there it's so annoying especially dual coils, I think i'll stick with my single coil builds. I have origin dripper that I can run dual coil builds on it, but i'm not that impressed with the flavor.. at best it feels about on part with the KFL in terms of flavor.. vapor production & nic buzz hands down the origin kills the KFL, but those aren't my priorities.

I'll try that, It seems to be ok now. We will see how the rest of the tank goes

my personal experience with adding additional side wick(s) which is exactly what that build gives, is that it does help a lot with the juice feed, it does make for a less dry coil which is why you may be liking it better, but at the same time it does wind up muting the flavor a bit compared to a fully saturated center only wick, I mean all things being equal and assuming you get a well saturated center wick alone then flavor was better for me without the additional side wick(s). my opinion is that if you really like that setup that tells me that you are appreciating the extra wicking but I also think you are trading off a bit of peak flavor quality for better wicking, gives you a better overall vape yes, but I think it could be even better if you could get it to wick well enough without the additional side wick(s). another big plus of that wicking strategy is that it also winds up acting as a balancing wick too, connecting both separate sides together so in a situation where one side wicks better that the other, this wicking strategy will eliminate some of the problems that you might have had with separate wick ends for each well. not meaning to put that wicking down at all, again whatever works for you works for you and if you're happy with it then more power to you, but these are just my observations after trying this stuff quite a bit and my opinion may help someone, or maybe not, opinion given freely so feel free to discard it if it doesn't help you :)

Have you tried a vertical setup yet? You can wick in a similar way, but all the wick is outside the coil of course.

I've got a semi new vaper that I've taken under my wing. I started him out with an itaste v3 kit. Now he wants to upgrade. I helped him order a provari and a kfl+ last night :) I also ordered a kfl+ for myself.. I placed the order at intaste.de at 6:30 this morning and it's already scheduled to be here Friday! Now I've got the fun of teaching him to build, rewick and maintain it :D

I snagged a custom Roller at a great price in the classys yesterday so I've got to get something to go on it...don't I?

I wing a lot of new vapers too. I always start them out with something simple like a spinner and Protank or something. I always wonder if I should just skip all that crap and outfit them with a Provari and Kayfun right out of the starting blocks. :)

Actually, most all of them are intimidated at the size of the Provari/Kayfun. They're still trying to get their e-gear to look like a cigarette. :)

diamonds aren't forever, at least in the kayfun. worked out about the same as a standard micro, but took a lot more time to build, so basically a no go. setting up dual coils does take some time, at least for me it does, and can be a pain in tight quarters. but once you have a set up it basically stays in there for a long time so its not that bad. currently I have a 26g dual coil, about 5 wraps each on a 5/64 th drill bit. this coil has slight gaps from the start, so its not a true micro in terms of wire gauge and separation. I kind of feel its slightly easier to make this coil because as you tighten up the connections the coil has room to move because of the gaps between the wraps. i find the aqua tank has a much better flavor then the kayfun at super low resistances just because of the dual coils and more airflow but at higher resistances no real difference. been using the lite with a vert coil for the past couple of weeks and find it one of the best set ups to date. tonight i am using some mundys majic wire for a regular micro. haven't tried this combo yet, mundy's, hemp, and standard micro so well see. also got a new mech, its a dingo set up for an 18650 battery, i really like this mod because of the side button, and it hits really hard.

You know, you would think InTaste would make it real clear what their cost of the KFL is. They should list it in current US dollars at the going exchange rate and how much the shipping cost and delivery times are. They have such an advantage over VapeRev and Cloud9 yet they don't take advantage of their advantage. I have to believe the US is their biggest market and would benefit them if they'd make it easier for the American shopper to figure out what their cost/delivery structure is without having to go through their checkout procedures to try and figure out. Honestly, I don't think I knew what it cost me in total US dollars until I saw it on my CC statement.

I guess i'll have to mess with my aqua tank some in the near future. I'm glad your new mech mod is working out for you, I can't wait to test my new WAE dna20 mod. :)

BTW I'm still waiting for that single vertical coil carto build tutorial vapdivrr, not sure if you still plan to make a video tutorial on it, it's weird I know how to make the coil and set it up, but for me personally i'm getting more TH from a vertical coil set up vs a standard micro coil maybe because i keep my coils pretty close to the air hole, and the vapor production seems less when i do a vertical coil build. It's random but sometimes I get good flavor and sometimes I don't from the carto style build, it's usually flavor which feels like un vaporized e juice that seems to be spitting into the drip tip.

I urge people to start on an advanced setup. I push provaris and DNA20s and a few mechs especially with a kfl. Saves them money in the long run and if they decide not to stick with it I'm always happy to buy it from them :) no such luck yet haha. We love our kayfuns!!

I'm not willing to buy their stuff if they give it up. That would make a difference wouldn't it. :)

I have been ordering some items outside of the USA, but I do not like to, so when ever I can, I will just wait for them to restock. Plus I have a order from greek vapes that just got to my state today, by the time I get it, it will have been 17 days, of waiting for it, that is a bit of a long time to wait for vape mail.

My intaste.de order was here in 5 days, I placed an order with atmistique on the 4th, arrived today...that's a week...I've never had to wait longer than 10 days for orders from Europe. I think you might've just had bad postal luck.

That's nothing. Have you tried "Slowtech"? It was like 2 weeks and still not even a order processed email. I cancelled order and got my refund. Never again....
