Also, the stock tip has a very small hole, which constricts the airflow. The one(s) I use have either medium or wide open apertures for greater airflow.

I find that the smaller diameter hole in the drip tip seems to concentrate the vapor and flavor. The attys that utilize the Venturi effect (KFL, Spheroid, Sophia, Diver, et al) all have a smaller internal orifice to accomplish this. Remember that on the KFL, the airflow will never be greater than the diameter of the chimney.

I tried the carto style vertical Divrr, the build in my opinion was spot on...the vape however, and overall experience didn't perform as well as I thought it was going to, throat hit was very lite, surprising with 24mg liquid...definitely not as good as any of my other standard type micro builds, wasn't quite what I was hoping for.
This new build, for me anyway...is performing really well, like I said, much better vapor production, obviously makes sense with wicks inside and out. Always a work in process...right Divrr.

I do think TH is slightly less with the vert coil but because I use a thick gauge and lower resistances it makes up for it. its amazing just how many set ups can be made for sure. just heard of a 4 coil (all one coil really) kind of making a circle, the center of the coils is placed over the air hole. sounds pretty cool.

just purchased and received the dingo mod with an 18650 tube, looks real nice with the lite. to celebrate this set up am going to try this sort of round micro coil in the lite. well its not really round but does kind of make a small hole in the center. supposedly you make a small coil around the drill bit, maybe 4 wraps, after the 4 wraps you make a space then 4 more wraps, space then 4 more, and finally a space then 4 more wraps. next angle the little coils so they make, or come around in a circle. well its more like a diamond. seen it in a dripper so I may have to make it a dual coil so the wire leads can connect. anyways it sounds like some thing a little different. will take some photos and let you all know if its something that works good.

all i have to say is i have been using the kayfun on a apv, and today i went to a local BM and grabbed a magneto V2 for pretty cheap and oh my god. what a difference a mech makes. wrapped a nice 1ohm micro coil and it is literally vaping heaven. never going back to a clearo, maybe not even a apv. dont even need the kick.

Sounds like a lot of work diver…most of the differences seem so subtle amongst coil styles anyway…gonna stick with my latest, enjoy it and call it a day…lemme know how that 4 banger goes of course.

yah to be honest I have done so many different variations on these micros and none really seem that much different to a standard micro, like you said subtle differences.

Yeah buddy...nice work Skittles, way thicker vape huh...I'm sticking with it for sure, Be patient with it though....this build takes 1/2 a tank to break in, second tankful gets even better.

And one other thing, I'm sure you already caught it...I had to slightly re-jet, opened up the air screw just a bit.

I tried this wrap-over deal as well last night, as mine needed a re-wick BADLY (went 9 full days on one cotton wick).

My coil was on at a diagonal (from over a month ago), so I pulled the new wick in, put the loop on the deck, then pulled the end up snug with the edge of the coil. Basically sandwiched it between the coil and the screw as much as I could.

This is on a Lite. It definitely tightened the draw a bit, but the vapor production is up a lot. So far, the taste is about the same as it was before. Overall, I approve.
