I tried something different tonight. After watching Phil do a review on the squape, I noticed he set his squape up with 28g kanthal wrapped 7 times on a 2.5mm drill bit. (about 1.3ohm coil) Well, I tried it on my kayfun and was able to use a bigger tuft of cotton through it. Well, so far so good. Vapes great with lots of saturation. Kinda funny when you stop and think about the current trend around here to make coils smaller and smaller and thus using less and less cotton. To me that seems kinda counter intuitive lessening juice quantity/flowage. hmm.. Something to think about next time I guess when sitting on the can. ;-)

Any thoughts from the peanut gallery are always appreciated.

This has essentially been the ID of my "go-to" coil since day one, and it still is. I've played around with everything from 1mm-3mm ID, and the sweet spot for me is between a 2-2.5 mm ID with a single coil on the Kayfun. Any smaller and it vapes too cool, much larger and it vapes too hot. Also, wicking is optimal for me in this ID range.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I use a 3/32” bit which is 2.38mm. 30g wire also for me. Heats more quickly, and less coils than 28 = less chance for the cotton to "choke" in the coil.

Lol I've been doing nano coils with a sewing pin(around 20g) on on my kayfun and Russian 91 in terms of more surface area for same amount of ohm... Bigger diameter is a lot easier to wick though... Haven't gone above 5/64 drill bit though

Hi guys and gals! I was thinking of buying the Kayfun lite but I wanted to know this first... Is it possible to use it without the chimney? Reason I'm asking this is because I like to drip (I usually taste/vape several juices throughout the day), so I'm planning to use the Kayfun mainly as a dripper... A huge dripper I reckon, but would that be possible? Or does the chimney provides something extra to the whole vaping experience (flavor, vapor production etc.) that I'm not aware of? Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

I gotta ask...if you are primarily a dripper, why don't you buy a dripper?

Jamesoner,

This is not a clearo. This is a rebuildable tank atomizer. While it has many parts, it is not meant to be taken apart and use only what you feel like using, or what you understand. I have linked below the manual in English. I humbly you suggest you read it. This one of the best engineered atomizers in the market today, and is meant to be used as a system.

It was a game changer the second it hit the market, anyone that uses one will no doubt agree.

It is the protank of RBA's IMO, And it should be, the kfl/russisn is an excellent RBA.
