Yehhhhh. Kfl+ doesn't really have a true adjustable 510 connection. I would definitely say that you would wanna keep that pin screwed on tight. The last thing you want is to have the negative post swiveling and touching the positive post and get a short.

Check the 510 connection on your mod. There's a chance that it's been depressed a little too far down from you screwing on the other Attys.

So. Tighten back your 510 connection on your kfl. Try pulling up your mod's 510 connection.

Got my new KF Lite Plus Today, installed a micro coil, and when I tested resistance I get zero. If I loosen the center pin I get a reading (1.8, which I was shooting for) but the coil heads are now too loose! Anyone run into this?:mad::mad:
Sounds like your insulator is bad. Take it apart n inspect. You can cut a quick replacement from a credit card.

That's not it. I get the same zero connection on my ohm meter and a brand new provari (got the provari and kayfun both today.)

What kind of coil is in the kayfun lite? Just thought i might toss the question out.. I went looking at some of your posts, "flux capacitor" made my day.

Kayfun Positive Post Insulators - 5 pack - Kidney Puncher
insulators found here. If you need to back your 510 out, then it makes contact with your device, or ohm reader. Your insulator might be thin. The above site has replacements, or you can try and make your own from a credit card. I do not think you have a "short" just a thin insulator, so your 510 pin is going into the atty to far. I hope this helps & i did not mean to offend with the new ish comment.

Are you saying -0- Dead Short?
    Coil touching Deck
Positive Block turned touching Negative post riser or insulator damaged. Inspect these areas.
Center Pin Bent and touching Housing.
If this is a Clone with Side AFC - air control screw in to far touching Center pin shaft.

Easy test - Attach to tester and read
    If -0- Shorted
    Remove coil
    Check again
If -0- Short in Kayfun positive path - Positive Block or Center pin/shaft
If -- Open - Coil was shorting.
