I use to transfer all my juices without droppers (like Suicide Bunny) to plastic bottles with needle top. Then got lazy transfering since id go through juice pretty fast. Now I just use my old droppers from 5pawn bottles.

Its pretty helpful because I can gauge how much juice ive put in buy how many dropper fills. 2 1/2 fills from the dropper is a full tank for my kayfun in nano. 6 1/2 is about full for normal sized kayfun when using the SS middle tank.

Why does it take a while for flavor to fully wake up after a fill? Even when the wick it wet.

I can't say I detect any noticeable difference after a fill, as long as I don't change the wick. If it's a new wick it does take 10 to 15 hits to wake up..

I sometime think the flavor starts to change when the level gets to the top of the lower metal ring. (That is sort of a tongue twister -- hope I made sense) I never could come up with an explanation that made sense and maybe it's all in my imagination.
This has been my experience too. Must have to do with the air pressure (or lack thereof) in the tank.

I still don't understand why I get flavor drop after a refill with an already saturated (in use) wick.

Should have mentioned I also have the flavor drop, but only with a new wick so it's a little easier to explain. After refills I usually don't notice any great difference unless I don't leave enough of a bubble when filling.

As the tank gets low, there's more air. Air heats up faster than juice and expands, which forces even more juice into the chamber. You should get very good flavor when the tank gets low due to this.
I'm gonna have to dig out my old physics books and read up again. I never realized when I started with vaping that there would be so much science involved....lol It is neat though to begin to understand how something does work. Makes using the different devices much more enjoyable.

I have found that once my juice gets down to the top of the chimney stack, I just remove & replace the fill screw, it seems to equalize pressure until I run the tank dry.
Might just be luck lol...

Another curious thing I've noticed, is that sometimes when I release the power button and stop drawing, I hear an "after-burn" sizzling. This often precedes the burnt hits.

I dry burned, adjusted my coils and re-wicked this morning using the Rip Trippers method of moving the (longer) tails on to the ledge, out of the way of the canals. Seems to be working well so far.

Got one nasty burnt hit early on with my 91%. The loosen/trighten of the top cap to burp out an air bubble fixed it.

So you are thinking too much pressure is building up?

If the air hole gets juice in mine,i just gently blow in the tip to clear it,no problem. The secret for no leaks is too keep the wick and coil well above the airhole and make sure the wick does not touch the sides of the top deck and tuck the wicks into the corners away from the channels....LIFT AND TUCK,just like a bra. Also i find a thin wicks is better than a thick wick, less chance of juice ''falling'' back into the air hole.

BTW...these drrip tip fit perfect in the KF lite.
