OK So we know that svoemesto put's the light green rubbery plastic ball thingy in SOME of the KFL's, but apparently not ALL of the KFL's...
I'm confused at this, but if it's true that it's an "anti-whistle" measure, maybe they only put the green thingy in the devices that whistle coming off the production line?

I'm still very eager to know the thoughts of the guys that have removed it...
Does it whistle more? Less?
Does it now leak through the afc hole?
Does it vape better?

@schizm722 I already asked svoemesto, he told me all KFL+ v1 and v2 come with a small green plastic ball, if yours didn't have one it probably fell out and it's pretty hard to see it anyways, and also just cause you have the green ball in there doesn't mean it won't whistle i've bought 3 KFL+ v1 and one KFL+ v2 and two of the KFL+ made a whistling sound and two of them were fine. I even tried to jam the green plastic ball down even further into the air control screw it didn't get rid of the whistling sound

I can vouch for something at the end of the AFC screw hole....mine was a hard piece of GREEN plastic....took me 2 hours to loosen it up and get it out without messing up the threads....I emailed SvoёMesto and never heard back...hmmm was it in there for a reason?

lol... why did you remove it?.. >_>

I PM'ed svoemesto a couple weeks after the KFL+ V1 came out.. also since svoemesto confirmed that there is no changes to the v2 besides the top cap / drip tip design the same information for the green ball applies.

OK I've been thinking about I should post about this so here goes, up until recently I have always used the Kayfun style drip tip and here and there I would get this drop of juice through it. I have switched to a conventional style drip tip and that pretty much eliminated it.
Of coarse this may or may not have been posted before but I can imagine it was. Why it took me so long I have no idea.

ive had the same issue with all the kayfun drip tips. I use wider bored tips now and have 0 juice come out of it.

Would the smaller bore of the Kayfun tip create more negative pressure and hence "vacuum" up bits of juice easier vs a larger bore tip? Just wondering.....
My guess is that the restricted airflow due to the small bore allows the vape to condense easier on the sides and this is what splatters up. A wider bore would let the vapor flow through easier so not as much condensation and lower speed + lower pressure means less likely to pick up any droplets of condensation.

Now that makes much more sense.... thanks!!

Need a little advice! I've been building coils for a couple months now and while I was building a coil for one of my kayfuns, I got a little confused if it mattered how I mount the coil. What I mean is if I do 7-8 wraps and each tail ends in opposite direction, one wire is under and the other end wire is on top so does it matter how I mount it?? Probably a dumb question but it had me thinking as I was mounting the coil!!

If you have each wire coming off in opposite directions, they should be both on top or both on bottom depending on how you hold the coil. If you have one above and one below the coil, then they both exit Tue coil on the same side relative to each other. The former is what you want for a kayfun coil.
