This thread is about kayfuns. Some clones are made poorly but some are made very well and work great. Why must you people keep bashing clones? Get over it!

Could you please quote where I bashed clones? I said there not the "exact" same thing as an authentic one, but since you have never used a authentic one its kinda hard for you to make that call huh?

A very nice mod here on ECF has already posted regarding the "tone" and conversation of clones in this thread. I would suggest that every one get some tea or coffee and enjoy there morning thread reads. There is no need to take offense to some ones "clone" posts or usage here in this thread. Nor is there a need to posts the reverse of the last sentence. IE you do not have a real device, how can you judge. I enjoy helping kayfun lite (and clone) user's out. I have posted build pix, links to addons to bling your kayfuns out. Intaste.de for oem gear, FT for parts. I try and cover everything that i have personally tried. Please keep it civil here. End of need more coffee post.

Where did I mention you brekec? I did not quote anything you said. It has been said by many who own both that their clone is made as well as the authentic ones.

I agree 100% but let me just make my self clear. I'm not bashing clones what so ever or people who have only ever used clones. I own a Kayfun clone and was not trying to sound "elitist" at all. I merely stated that if you have never owned a "real" one that you can't really be the judge of it being "the exact same thing" or not.

I also use the Pulse-G drip tip in kayfuns. I do not care for the OEM, long drip tips. But the chamber in the oem drip tip does help with flavor. Large at the base & funneled to a small hole for exit. The straight threw design of the Pulse-G drip tip does not build up juice and work great. Here are drip tips "short" designed for the kayfun. Just rebuild my kfl+. Just wondering what resistance and/or watts(volts) you guys prefer on yours . This came out to 1.1 ohms, usually like it at 1.2-1.3, and I prefer 4-4.2 volts. 20140508_093058.jpg

Yea SOV knows their Kayfuns! Love all there stuff, have a nano top cap and a few drip tips that should be here today actually. I want them to make a v2 glass kit but with a nano top cap. I emailed them about it but described it very poorly (it was like midnight and I was at the bar). I'm pretty sure whoever read that email was probably like "what the fudge???" lol.

It's just that to me, a clone is a clone is a clone is a clone. It's just silly to call one a REAL clone.

can't say I agree that a clone is made EXACTLY the same though. I've owned 16 clones and 8 authentic, and there is just absolutely no denying the difference in quality.

The decision lies more in whether I can live with certain flaws when I pay less. Many times I can, but I've seen some clones which are complete piece of crap.

And I think you phrased it well. Can one live with the flaws of a clone in return for paying less. Only the individual footing the bill can answer that.

I love these drip tips. On my authentic SvoeMesto KFL.

Always make me laugh when someone spend $20 on a drip tip for a $14 Chinese knockoff.

Mine's a clone; the quality probably isn't equal to the original KF, but I knew that when I went looking for a clone; I'm not rich, haven't won the lottery, so buying originals of pretty much anything is outside my budget -- if I want something on my wall, I buy a lithograph, not an Old Master original. I have to say I'm *quite* pleased with this Tobeco version, it's far superior in quality to any of my previous tanks (all Kangers except one SmokTech ARO Pyrex); all the threads are smooth and thread perfectly, no leaks once I solved the flooding problem, and everything just fits so perfectly -- all of that *beside* the superior quality of the vape itself. Also I'm not sure I've ever seen a listing for a genuine Kayfun of any kind, so even if I won the lottery, I really wouldn't know where to look for a genuine Kayfun. And even if I knew -- would it be in stock? I saw some listings for a "genuine Russian 91%" but every single one was out of stock -- as well as out of my budget! ;)

I pulled the included driptip out of the KFL+ as soon as I got it, and put it in a drawer where it may never be seen again. I strongly dislike metal tips of all kinds; even for "tank cracker" juices, I *far* prefer glass/pyrex, or -- I just got a genuine black Jade driptip yesterday, and it's terrific. It also has a very small hole at the mouth-end, so I suspect it may work in a similar fashion to the included Kayfun driptip; the hits I was getting from it were so extremely "saturated" I had to keep wiping my mouth, thinking I had e-juice on my lips. However, with all the hard hot pops I'm getting from the KFL+ on first pressing the button, I may start using one of my knuckleheads, to try and keep those hot pops OUT of my mouth! ;)

For some reason, whenever I refill my kfl or my 91 through the fill screw, it drips juice out the drip tip as I'm squeezing juice into it. Do you guys think I'm maybe squeezing too hard? I've replaced the o ring and it's still leaking when I refill it upside down through the fill hole
