Exactly. I try to stay away from absolutes the best I can. At least as it pertains to perceptual things. While I wouldn't say the kayfun is the best juice feeding device ever made, I would say it is very popular and many find it to be the best device they have owned. I think the latter would be accurate.

Yeah calling the kayfun the best topper ever made is definitely a perceptual statement. I've heard people saying the same thing about the foggerv4 and taifun. Even calling the latter 2 easier to build on. I don't own any other RBA; yet, but I've built on them and tried them at a local shop. And personal comparison to the kfun I would still call the kfun better than those. Especially in the build on and production department(IMHO) I said in an earlier post at the same shop I've converted a few hardcore driller guys to kfuns, after trying my build. Granted not full time but they like the vale production and taste enough to keep one on hands for convenience. That sort of thing tells me something about the device.
But still not an absolute. Another group at a local shop keeps telling me "the rsst is the best possible thin you can get to vape on." Tried it, and to me it's almost a step down IMHO. Then again those guys were trying to sell me something. Lol

But that's because 50% of people are total idiots. And the other 50%, is 50% idiot. :D

Well, you cut half my quote out. I don't think they're idiots at all. I admit I read some of the things people think and do and I shake my head but in the end, we all end up in the same place. They probably do the same to me. :)

Ha! Always a motive, huh?

Me personally, in retrospect, I found gennies to be a joke and I laugh at myself now for screwing around with them as much as I did.

But that's just me.

Thanks, makes me feel allot better about my refusal to bother with them.
I was on a personal quest for the perfect vape since October. Honestly I think I found it finally!
Not as hard as a dripper, no mess, but really vapes like a cigar smokes. I tried soooo many things getting to this point though. Luckily I found a shop that was way cool and let me try a bunch of stuff for a while then made the joke after I tried a kfun to look online because they were oos and the online prices were allot cheaper than they would charge. 80 bucks for a tobeco clone!!!! Then tried saying the build quality on the tobeco is just as good as a authentic- I've never seen a tobeco but I've heard some mixed reviews

A genny setup just scares me- open tank with a 5ml capacity- just can't end well
I'm really not a pessimist I can just see the outcome

Mine seems very good; excellent threading and machining throughout, though granted, I have no experience with any others. Got mine for $32.95. Last night ordered a R91 clone, don't know who the actual maker is, but if it's as good as this tobeco, I'll be happy. It was only $26.99!

Wow; I paid 34 for my ehpro v2 and 44 for my Artemis black. My authentic was 110.00. Not buying authentic again, I like the ehpro better lol

Well that wasn't good. Started to taste burnt.

Did you overfill?
Did you blow into the tip to start wicking process?
Is your volts or watts too high?

Maybe the coil is too high?

Try tipping upside down then back up right... blow thru tip pointed down...do this 3 times

Dry cotton; could just be a wicking issue. It did look like a bit too much cotton, to me. No usually make the wicks thinner and longer.
Just seams to work for me, gotta be careful not to block those juice channels. Other trick I found to work for me is to hold a finger over the airhole and take a few primer puffs before you fire the first time to make sure the vacuum pressure is good and the juice is flowing into that chamber and feeding the wick.

Hahaha you never know well you'll need it- lol
I still pull out my joyetech eroll when I'm feeling nostalgic

The last time I used my eRoll was when I was all stressed out about learning to dry-burn kanger coils. I didn't even vape it, really, since the iTaste vv3+T3S was a much better vape, I just needed the tactile comfort. I guess that was about 2 months ago, really the last serious cigarette craving I had. Since then, I've charged the PCC and both eRolls once, just to keep them alive in case I want to pass them on to anyone. Guess I ought to do it again. It's funny; as big an improvement as the iTaste+T3S was over the eRoll, the Kayfun is over the T3S. Some might say that a dripper is that much better than a kayfun, but I find the Caterpillar I have to be actually a bit more vape than I can handle, with my asthma. I'll just use it for tasting, because the kayfun is *JUST RIGHT* -- if I'm having some throat/coughing issues, I can just turn the wattage down, and still be able to taste the vape, just not get so much of it; but when I'm craving TH, I can turn the wattage up, and the kayfun delivers, without burnt taste. I really couldn't ask for better. :thumb:

I always make sure that the cotton is pushed back against the wall of the deck. I make sure there is a gap between the juice channel and the wick. You might wanna try that. In your pic the wick is right on the juice channel and it may be causing it not to wick properly, the middle drying out quickly and hence the burnt taste

Yup, took a couple of primer puffs before i fired it. Worked well while the wick was saturated, then started to taste burnt.

Not overfilling i dont think. Im filling it just to the top of the transparent widow when its inverted.

Vaping it on a mechanical mod with a freshly charged battery

Case in point...lol. I always make sure the wick is right over the juice channels.
(Not saying your wrong...just pointing out we do it different and both get good results)
