I've heard about it for ages. Of course with a silly nonsense name without descriptive words the rest of the normal people use renders it absolutely uninteresting to me also. I mean I couldn't tell if it's animal, vegetable or mineral, let alone if it's supposed to taste like xxx with additional yyy and zzz flavors.

Although I will admit to being curious about what's the primary flavor.

From what I understand it's touted as an anise (or is it black licorice?) based juice, but I've also heard/read that it contains elements (flavour) of stuff that would not be allowed to be talked about here.

I love Pluid. It's no ADV for me but it's a treat.

It tastes and smells like black licorice but better.

It's also perfect if someone ignorant says "You're smoking antifreeze you know"
I can say "of course I am" and show them.

3ml in a KFL+ just lasted me almost a week.
I only hit it occasionally because the taste really lasts.

Pluid is in my rotation. It is anise based, so is the Grenada i vape all day. Last week i ordered a few new anise based juices to try. "Shocker" is a anise raspberry and "Cynical" an apple anise juice. My all time favorite is Grenada. But if you do not like black licorice, i would stay clear of these juices. They also eat o-rings and plastic tanks. Starting my day with some Grants Vanilla Custard :)

I don't mind clones, but it ticks me off when they go too far. FT sells a KF clone that says designed in Russia/made in German on the bottom and Svoemesto (or Svoemest) on the body. Why? It's so unnecessary except to confuse people.

I would have to agree 100%. This one doesn't actually say "Svoemesto" on the body, but on the bottom it says "Designed in Russia/Made in Germany" -- I really doubt it. I'm thinking it ought to say "China" for both. :D Which doesn't bother me, that it was designed/made in China, but a little honesty would be great. They're not fooling even ME, with zero experience with a REAL Svoemesto; someone really experienced with that item would probably laugh their .... off at this thing's performance. It will vape ok, but it sure is PICKY as to the conditions of coil/wick it prefers, and I don't find that to be the case at all with my Tobeco KFL+; when I first started I was no great shakes at either coil making or wicking, but that first one I got, the Tobeco, just vaped right along like the champion it's a clone of. So I ordered a 2nd one just like it, and it arrived today! Happy happy!

I had some Amsterdam from 7 cities. Special for me cause of work. Don't ask don't tell.
Taste was fantastic. Reminded me of being 6 years old and eating black licorice.
Only problem was it was just 8mg. But the flavor was really good.
Only reason I used it at all was because I heard all the legal junk So I trusted it.

Anyone have any pointers for thicker juices? I have been trying to get my Boba's to stick consistently, but eventually I get a dry hit.

Less cotton? The coil isn't coming the cotton and the channels are clear, but its still not keeping up. Just wondering what your thoughts are :)

I use Koh Gen Do cotton if that's helpful.

Give rayon a try. You won't go back to cotton if you do :) It's taken my kayfuns to a whole new level!

I keep seeing comments about rayon wicks... but where the heck do you find such a thing? I've seen plenty of silica and ekowool on vapeshop sites, and organic cotton balls from Walgreens and other retailers... but rayon? HUH? Where do you get it?

You'll find them in the wonderful world of Walmart, generally in the knitting section. Might be listed by their other name.. "yarn"! :D

Uh oh... I kept hearing about the greatness of P&C yarn from wallyworld, and now I have this giant ball of it that will never be used -- unless I take up knitting or crocheting. Silica/ekowool wicks better than cotton yarn. Since I'm thrilled past words with organic cotton, think I'll give rayon yarn a miss.

I am having to use the stainless tell part of the tank for my Pink Lemonade and was wondering how can you tell when you are running outta juice?

I think you will get familiar with how long it takes you to use up the liquid in the tank. Whenever you think you are running low, you can use a syringe to draw out any remaining liquid or open the top of the unit to look inside to see if there is any liquid in there. After awhile, you will be able to estimate when you should add more juice. At least, this has been my experience.
