Yep, the bloody thing is 2mm. And you guys are right, it should be 1.4Ω+. What's going wrong? Have I used 26g in place of 28 ;)

Gonna turn this into a wallet size photo for those fights with the lady

Don't know but I've used 24 in it on a mech- I was bored - it was alright I guess. I've had worse

wouldn't use the 26 on my provari but do use it on my dna mod. if I can get 20 watts in it, I really like the 26g. I have used it in my mechs but because I don't run any kayfun much below .8 the wattage is borderline for the 26g. so 26g on my dna mod/ 27g on my mechs/ 28g on provari. this is when im not using twisted builds or dual coils

Q has a good sense of humor. :)

And I'm betting he's going nuts right now trying to figure out why his resistance is so low on his coil. He doesn't let things like that go by him. :)

on my (whats it called, caliper or something?) that measuring device thingy in the picture. anyways I have one and never had to replace the battery yet but in my multimeter (its sort of a cheaper one from radio shack) when the batterys run low, the readings are inconsistent. so maybe that's a possibility? maybe that rod is a 1.6mm

Just starting in mechs- it's really not my thing at all. Quite frankly I do not like them. Personal taste. I use it only to taste my DIY juice and that's it.

Digital caliper. Yes, batteries last a long while on those. Who knows what the deal is there. I'm surprised Q hasn't checked back in with his discovery.

I prefer a regulated vape myself. But I still use my mech with some regularity. I like that it is smaller than a regulated mod.

Well perhaps this is the answer, I just tried to duplicate Q's 1.2Ω set up but I used Nichrome and it came out to 1.2Ω.
1.27Ω on my little ohm checker and 1.2Ω on Taifun mod
Wicked with rayon

that's what I was thinking, maybe they sent him some nichrome or he just mixed the two up

Q's post was kind of an eye opener for me 'cause I wanted to match the set up but had to look for a 2mm rod, I found it when I mic'd the rod I use to wrap 1/16" id coils. Gee I thought all this time I was making micro's but I guess they were macro's..LOL

Also now that I have a couple regulated mods now those 0.8Ω coils that I've been making for mechanicals were just not quite right for them.

This Kayfun 3.1 is out performing the Taifun GT that I use daily with this setup.

I like them all. I love the provari and my dna for the consistent vape they provide. I love my mechs for the style aspect while providing pure power simplistically. my provari and futura mods are great but for looks, they cant match the form of my v-2 origen and aqua tank (that's just a sexy combo). also if there is a electro magnetic pulse that wipes out all the micro chips, my mechs will still vape. actually I don't know if an electromagnetic pulse would knock out a chip in a provari, I think that's just in a computer or something.

If we get hit with an electromagnetic pulse something tells me my mods will not be foremost on my mind. :)

I don't like anything about the mechs I got one cause it was a smoking deal and wanted to see what I've been missing- nothing I've been missing nothing.
-in my opinion of course

I'll give mechs that they are gorgeous! But I would rather am old best up truck that can toe a house and rock crawl than a really pretty show truck that runs bad. I don't have much gear I got off re egos in feb. And my girl stole my MVP as her first step off smokes.

And this mech is gorgeous. I love boats and it's a Caravela; I got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up. Well the provari had to go to Provape and someone is letting me borrow their reg but I won't have it till Friday so this is it for now. I got the thing because I couldn't pass up a mech and patriot for 15 bucks and it'll let me taste my DIY juice quickly and easily. I finally put a Vtc4 in it and the damn thing turns into a firestcick button gets red hot, the top and tube gets way hot. So guess who will be at the vale shop as soon as they open tomorrow. Glad I got the whole package from one place.

Recently bought a sentinel m16, astro and atom mod. All telescopic of course, just because I was in a coop and decided for no reason at all, to buy 4 batts of each size.

I've always thought an 18350 mech + kayfun in nano = very very good stealth
