That's what I thought too.... I spent 3 straight nights trying numerous different setups on 4 different kayfuns. I get pm's and emails from others that don't want to rock the rayon boat having issues with rayon (yes I have the right rayon). It's a mute point for me good cotton works well for me and serves all my needs. I have no need or desire to fight with that perfect rayon setup
You tell me if I need another 22mm Kayfun?

4What about using an 1/8" drill bit for the micro coil, should make it much easier to get an even wick thru the coil, what would be the down sides. I'm not sub ohming, just trying to get a build that doesn't taste like burnt wick.
One last comment: these post screws suck! They're not flat on the underside and the wire slides out from underneath as the screw is tightened. I found some M1.6 SS screws at McMaster-Carr to try, and think I'll also look for some tiny washers for just-in-case.
because im in the biz, I like "dammit jim! im a doctor, not a brick layer! I think that one was from DEVIL IN THE DARK episode.
That's the one. The creature was like cement so bones had to mix up some and patch him up. That's when he said, I'm not a brick layer.I will have to dig out my old recordings of those soon, I didn't remember the name of that one, just the rock eating thing, or tunnel maker things.

Give it a try, it may work great for you. For me, I have found that to be a little big but haven't really tried it that much. If you do go with 1/8, you will now have a macro coil instead of micro, at least that's what I'm told. What about using an 1/8" drill bit for the micro coil, should make it much easier to get an even wick thru the coil, what would be the down sides. Man I have been wanting to get one of those for a while, like you said it will show a great deal. Will check it out, thanksYou know what could help you in your experiments? Try getting one of those transparent plastic kits that show you whats hapening inside the chimney. It helped me a lot in seeing how the juice is filling up the chimney to know how to place my wicks.
can someone post a pic of how their kayfun lite plus version 2 looks wicked using cotton, or how the cotton looks before u put it through the coil? thickness? lenght? the cotton i have now is flavorfull but very little vapor? why? too tight? i tolled it up like a small tight joint and pointed it opposite ways as the coil and sits on the deck

About # 2 picture, I had it wicked and wet and ready to go when I realized I forgot to "squeeze" it.
I almost just was going to just go with it, good thing I went back and did it as this one was in need of it.

The rayon in my hand is flat and the coil is 2 mm.

That's about 10 mm sticking up.
I still need to vape it awhile but so far it's good.
Oh, this is a clone, the FT one that comes with a nano kit, note that the channels had some work done to them.
0.9Ω with 28 gauge nichrome, 8 1/2 wraps on 2 mm shaft @ 20 watts.
update... it didn't work out... dry after primer vaped off.. rewicking with rayon again...works good in every thing else I have
Not a pro by any means, but here's mine
