Definitely not the fogger I have, my channels are nowhere near that deep. Now those look like the aquas channels. Although my fogger has small ones, it vapes really good so it's fine. Man there seems to be a lot of fogger variations out there, I guess just like the kayfun.

I've only come across two versions of the fogger V4.
As for the aqua -blah, I tried it, and just wasn't for me, I reckon.

Regal, I have one and ordered a second one as back-up for spare parts, if needed. It's my favorite one. I replied to you on June 26 about them.
Sounds like its worth a try. I can't believe no one has tried the $15 fastech KFL yet. You'll almost have to buy two so you can campare the results directly. Let up know how it go, wicking is indeed the weekspot on the KLF, especially for those of us with fast lungs.

After a month a of trials and cussing and have a few good builds under my belt and can say its going to be hard going back to the aerotank when I go back to work. The KFL (tiribeca and ephro) are amazing in their ability to bring out flavor. I haven't tried over 10W so seem content with my SVD and kicked nemesis's. I'm holding off on using my Provari.

I ordered a DNA-30 tube but am concerned that it won't go low enough in voltage. I like floral/juicy tobaccos with delicate flavors and I always find going past 11 watts kills that flavor, does lowering the resistance of the coil to 1.4 ohm help with that?

What 30W device did you get?

I only have just the one fogger so I don't really know for sure about different versions, but reading thru some of the fogger thread, it seems like there are at least a few. As for the aqua, it's an awesome tank and probably my favorite. The flavor and vapor production imo, is better then the kayfun. What I really like is you can work on the wick and coils without draining the juice. It is a dual coil so it's definitely harder to build compared to a kayfun but when set up properly, it kicks ..... Being a dual coil, you really need to have it sub ohm, and imo really shines between .4 to .5 ohms or lower. Anything higher and the vape suffers imo. Another thing people don't like about it is the 21mm diameter.

Lol. The aqua. So. Much. Potential. SO MUCH.

And then somehow they decided to go with 1.8 or 2ml juice capacity. Why why why why. Ditched it and went back to the kayfun after a day.

The fogger. Ah. My new found love. Fits close to 5ml of juice, and lasts me a good full day. I just wish it had juice channels as deep as the aqua.

You are the 2nd person to say they have an OEM v2 that didnt come with the spares kit... Maybe they dont anymore?

The one I bought from Intaste came with the kit. One I bought from VapinArt did not.

And the plot thickens. Hmm. Either way I will bring it up to the owner. I want to make sure he didn't get burned by an employee or distributor. Either way I am really happy with my Kayfun. It is definitely my new daily tank. Guess I can always find a place to buy some spare parts. You would think for the money and previous precedence it would come with spares.

Regulars here are probably sick of me saying this, but if you find yourself stuck and in need of replacement parts, I haz a blog post with the dimensions for all the parts you'll need :) you can source for em real cheap.

ETA: btw if you ARE sick of me posting this, I'm only doing it because I had a hell of a time finding spares 6 months ago, and I was ...... off with getting ripped off by vendors. Just trying to help! :)

I have two of the original KFL's in my rotation. This past weekend I finally got awesome builds on both of them using KGD. One thing that I believe helped was taking the time to sit down and relax with the build vs trying to do it on the run..and using just a touch more wicking material. I've used them forever, started with cotton balls, then cotton yarn but do prefer the KGD now that I've figured it out.

I almost got it, then my friend was selling a legit taifun at a can't pass up price so I went with that and haven't used the KFL much at all since.

I'm with kiwi on the juice volume. It looks cool, looks fairly easy to build to me, at least. I'm not a fan of it being such a narrow diameter or holding half the amount of juice as most RBAs. At least with most others you can get a nano kit and have the option. But it does look cool, I was shocked when I had the chance to try it at how small it really was. Granted the build that was in it, was someone else's, but I wasn't a fan of its performance so much.
As for the fogger they have 4 major variations out there and the V4 has 2 sub versions from what I can tell. I've heard some great things about it, I know kiwi is a huge fan of them, every time I to to get one I see a sale on something else; and figure I'll wait since it's so inexpensive anyway.

No doubt the biggest issue is the juice capacity. When I top filled, it was like 1.5 or something, and bottom filling doesn't add that much more. Like you said maybe 1.8 to 2ml, and because this type of atty is usually set up at lower resistances and dual coils, it can burn through that juice pretty quick. So yes, it's a major con to most and a deal breaker for sure. For me however it doesn't really bother me because I'm the guy who brings 3, 4, and 5 mods to work, all with different juices. Throughout the day I rotate between all, so a smaller juice capacity doesn't matter that much.

Is that an authentic or a clone you put the SOV kit on?

authentic kayfun lite + v2. the threads have a gap because it wasn't screwed in all the way. the SOV has a threaded chimney and base, which takes a minute to line up properly. it works really well and keeps the vacuum consistently, although the shortened overall height makes for a warmer vape in general.

I normally build my KFL using the 2.4mm screwdriver, about 8-10 wraps using 28 or 29 gauge kanthal, normally coming out to around 1.4-1.6 ohms, then wick with cotton. It was hitting fine but it always felt really slow to heat up. I just rebuilt another one using 26 gauge kanthal, using the 2mm one and rewicked with rayon. WHOA... much much difference! Better difference! I think I've been using too big of a diameter. This coil came out to .9 ohms, about 7 wraps I think, don't really remember. I usually just wing it and loosely count the wraps, as long as I 'feel' its good enough. Still experimenting but I'm getting better and this makes me happy.

On the subject of useful information about the Kayfun, are the screws used for airflow control consistent across devices? I know some are hex head set screw and some slot but still set screw style, but I'm thinking more about diameter and pitch.

Dang, I forgot to check the size of the AFC screws... CRS sufferer here.

But-- I did get info on the filler screws: M2.5 x 0.45 x 5. McMaster-Carr p/n 92000A103 is a package of 100, cost is $4.83.
I ordered them, along with Viton O-rings and post screws.
