I have no info of any new version/s of the K'fun dear. All I know is that the K-Mini v2 is in the works.
I hear Dyson is coming out with a new vacuum cleaner. Get that on your list for review too.
Thanks Q.

I have a couple questions.
I baught the fast tech $15/99 special KLF. Not sure which version it is but the fill hole is on the side with a hole cur at a steep slant. One feature I really like is the + and - terminals have holes underneath so you don't have to wrap the coil end under the screw's head, just push the wire thru the hol and the screw is more of a set screw. Any idea of what version that it?
The second question is a problem, the whole positive terminal is loose, the "block swing around the air hole. Is there any way to tighten this up?
Thanks

Ive always used 2mm coils and you're right all i do is drop the wick until it just touches the base directly next to the channel and its worked flawlessly each time without needing to be trimmedMy usual micro diameters are in the 1.6 to 1.8mm range, last night I tried a bigger coil because I see alot getting away from the smaller sizes. I tried a 2.25mm coil and as usual I place my wick tails down and across the ledge with an angled coil. In the end the flavor was lacking and initially I thought it was the larger coil . What it was is to much material on the lower deck and to close to channels. With my regular diameters, I never have to trim wick tails but as one increases to larger diameters, it seems like one has to reduce the tail amounts. Maybe if one is doing a straight drop wick it doesn't matter as much, but with wicks that run along the ledge it seems that larger diameter coils need some trimming
Still a KF noob, but for the last month I've built 1.8 or 2 mm coils and used organic cotton pulled through the coil then nicely trimmed and pushed up against the wall of the deck. If I use a plastic tipped bottle to fill my EhPro KFL +V2 it'll flood. If I use the metal needle nosed bottle or a syringe it won't flood. LOL I'm still in the trial and error part of learning rebuildable atomizers, but if you don't fill the KF a certain way mine floods.
All the Fun

I have always been an angled coil guy arranging my tails across the ledge, doing it this way has always worked awesome for me because of my smaller type coils but with bigger coils this can be problematic. I now see that with bigger coils one either must trim or just go straight downIve always used 2mm coils and you're right all i do is drop the wick until it just touches the base directly next to the channel and its worked flawlessly each time without needing to be trimmed
Roger that; it seems to eliminate dry hits altogether. It also makes running dual coil and twisted wire so much easier.I have always been an angled coil guy arranging my tails across the ledge, doing it this way has always worked awesome for me because of my smaller type coils but with bigger coils this can be problematic. Nice. I like them all except I would only vape the mvp set up if no one is looking.Roger that; it seems to eliminate dry hits altogether. It also makes running dual coil and twisted wire so much easier.

I dont like the set screws on that thing at all. And IMO its ugly
