pretty cool, I like it. I always was trying to figure a way to keep the chimney attached to the top cap but never thought of plugging the whole thing up and taking everything out.
Same result as using a wooden chop stick only more expensive.

its funny how results can be. as stated before, I use rayon and kgd in all my tanks depending on my mood I guess, but the only tank I don't use rayon in is the kayfun. I think the reason why is I always, like you, trim the rayon tails. in my fogger when I use rayon, the tails are almost non existent. in my erlk the tails are basically strands if any at all. so whenever I have done a rayon build in my kayfuns, there again like you, I always trimmed my tails by at least 30% if not more. more times then not this didn't work out very well and what was happening was the tails shrunk so much they got pasted up against the channel sides, completely flat, and didn't seem to draw any juice up. after a build, I would soon get some dry hits and when I opened up the tank, the wick tails seemed almost dry and very white as if no juice reached them, very weird. anyways I kind of gave up on the rayon in the kayfun. well just today I did a rayon set up in the kayfun and only trimmed my tails by like 5% but for the most part they were big and fluffy like my cotton tails, and this has been the best rayon build to date. so for me at least, the reason my previous rayon builds didn't work was because I trimmed the tails too much. go figure right! and yes, rayon does seem to shrink slightly, so one definitely needs to add more in the coil then with cotton.

You are right: "Go figure"
My Kayfuns, wicked with Rayon, didn't work before mainly because I didn't trim the tails enough. At least that's what I'd like to believe in.
Mean while, that Rayon build (in the picture) is now two weeks old and still going strong. I since rebuilt three more (big 30mm ones and 22mm ones) and they are all working flawlessly so far.![]()

I don't know sometimes these simple little devices have minds of their own. those rayon pics you have there, when you rewick them and look at the old wick tail, are they still the same shape as when you initially built them? or do they become like flatter? every rayon build (which I gave up after like 2x's in the kayfun) I did small tails and both times when I opened it up, the tails were smushed completely flat against the side wall, that's a new one for me. once I gave them some girth, it didn't do that and this build has been great all day. I don't know if its because of my opened up airflow and extra deep channels I modded? I doubt it but that adds another possibility maybe.
That's one thing I never have done, I always cut tails by eye and place them on ledge then attach chimney. well so much for the modded bit for i do remember you also doing that. The tails look a bit smaller then I initially made them but not flat and still saturated in juice. I too, drill my air holes and widen juice channels, I'm sure you've seen my pictures before. I use to build my Kayfuns in a traditional "Kayfun style" way, when you put your chimney on first, then cut your wick tails flush with the chimney, and then tuck the wick tails down into the deck. That way works fine on my Foggers and Kayfuns with Cotton, but with Rayon my Kayfuns would leak: Kayfun Lite would leak from Air Hole and 3.1 - into the bottom pan.

Yes, I'm a KFLer all the way too but a nice dripper makes for a good dessert.![]()
I drip my Kfl's. Just remove the chimney and top two sections of main tube. Add a longer wick and cloud and you're set. Holds about 2ml and tastes terrific.

Hi everyone, I have been using my Kayfun for over a month now. I love it but I was curious about one thing. The flavor is intensified which I love. It really makes any flavor shine. I use bacon cotton by wick n vape. My coil is 1.5 ohms. Vaping between 4.1 - 4.2 V .I did notice that I taste the ejuice. It's hard to describe but it is as if some ejuice is coming into my mouth when I vape. I don't think it is but it feels like it. Now if I use my Kanger Mega tank I don't have that issue. Is this a normal characteristic of the Kayfun or a rebuildable for that matter?
Thanks

I like to make them real big:

That's how it is supposed to beThanks vapdivrr and bronze. I guess the best way to describe it would be like a coating on my tongue. The flavor remains in my mouth after I exhale. Not a bad thing, just different than my cartos and clearos.
I keep meaning to drip with my KFL and keep forgetting.
I'm sure it is an excellent dripper. Anything that aims the air flow into the coil will give it a nice flavor pop.
