^ none of my authentics have that o ring. Buuuut all my clones have a clear Oring right there. Not sure why the difference

my KFL 2.1 clone from FT had that nasty leaking problem until i inserted an oring at the chimney thread.
This oring obviously raised the chimney just enough to make a good seal with the topcap oring.

I never had a Problem since.

This is pretty much what I was going to say, the addition of the o-ring on the bottom of the chimney caused the top of the chimney to fit tighter against it's o-ring because of the slightly increased length.

There was some gossip that FT's nano kits had all a too short chimney that was causing leaks. I wouldn't be surprised if it could happen to a full sized too... There are so many versions / clones out there that this stuff is bound to happen. Since I already had a ehpro nano kfl, when I got the nano kit (the one with two metal rings and stock polycarbonate middle piece) I reused the ehpro's nano chimney instead using the one provided and all is good. No O-ring and no leaks.

says three new models are coming out -- I assume that means a mini, lite, and full size. and they're entirely new designs, not the usual kayfun-style.

Huh. Hopefully not too new. I just picked up two of the five pawns KFLs, and have quite the investment in current generation Kayfun compatible accessories.

Any word on when?

A little off subject, but wanted opinions from a few of you!!
Hello my friends...I had one of those questions looming around in my head and I would seek out an explanation!! I use mech mods and regulated(Provari) about half and half or thereabouts. Correct me if I'm wrong but on a mech mod, the most battery strength you can get is 4.2 volts and whatever the amperage is for that battery so your coils become a much bigger "player" to achieve wattage, correct? With a regulated mod like the Provari, you can start out with a 1.8ohm coil and go beyond 4.2v as long as your battery and mod can handle the amperage/wattage, correct?
I was just trying to get it in my head when I am switching between mods and finally decided to run my lower ohm coils....1.2-1.5 on mech and 2.0 ohm coils on provari. I thought I understood ohms laws but just making sense logically in my head makes me want to think that with a freshly charged battery at 4.2 volts is the most power I can push and then it relies on low ohm coils and double check that my battery can handle the amperage, correct?as much as I love the mech mods and that first hour or so of pure raw power, it drops in voltage!! The regulated mod does maintain same voltage throughout the battery life as I see that to be only advantage, do you?
I will continue to use both but wanted to be sure my reasoning made sense!! Thanks for any input!!
P.S. I may post this in a couple threads to get different feedback!

Sounds right to me. Basically with a mech you adjust resistance to reach a desired power that you enjoy, in a vv device you change the voltage to reach desired power. But even with a vv device one still can manipulate resistance to obtain preferred results as much the same as with a mech albeit with a wider range of options. There is no doubt that with these new chips that can obtain 30 to over 100 watts the game has changed and more and more mechanical mods are becoming less and less popular. Just last year or so people that preferred wattages over 15 were held to mechs for there was no other options, not now. Not that it really matters but you mentioned 4.2v being the most a battery can deliver, this is true but actual power to the coil is much lower in most cases.

Sometimes my mind wanders and I just needed confirmation of my generalities.....Thanks dude!

chatter says november. and the photo that was released suggests an entirely different design. current kits not likely to be compatible.

I sold a Semovar and a Kayfun 3.1 today. Before shipping it out I took both completely apart to run through the UC. It was such a pleasure. I was just in awe and the brilliance that went into the engineering of these Svoemesto devices.

If you were in awe of the brilliance of the Kayfun, then why did you sell them?

All I heard is that they are revising the fill mechanism on the full size Kayfun. November is two weeks or so, so we will know soon enough. Glad for your rumors! Keep it up if you hear anything else.

http://i.imgur.com/UXH9XGv.jpg -- looking like more changes than the fill port and will all the competition svoemesto needs to keep up. I cant imagine current nano/glass/topcaps etc being directly compatible, but time will tell.

This is from the rayon thread. I had a plastic transparent tank and chimney and still see liquid going through. Blocking the channels doesn't seem as bad as I thought!!

Guys I just tried something crazy with the kayfun. I did the double insertion method without thinning any of the tails. I just cut the excess and stuffed rayon down there like there is no tomorrow. Yes I blocked the channels. It's doing better than ever lol. I think with something like kayfun we don't care for fast delivery but volume? No idea how this rayon is working but it is lol. Fastest and best build I have ever done.

Aal...I just stuff the wick in too and its never blocked juice flow. Actually,I pin the wicks to the side before I throw the chimney section on. But I used to put the chimney on first then stuff the wick down the sides. Never mattered how much I stuffed the thing in there it always worked for me.
