Wow and they still gunk the coil fast? I know you think they changed the juice, but have you changed anything else? Like the silica lately?
Same silica, same wire, same kayfun. Has to be the liquid or my taste buds are shot. Although my other liquid is great.
Lol the color of a juice can be a very very deceiving indicator of how junky a juice is.
Juice from vendors who use A TON of sugar-analogs can have clear juice (casts dirty looks at nicoticket) but are gunky gunky juice. Nods.

I concur what The Kiwi sais. I, sometimes use sweetener in my juices. Some times too much of it. And even though, the juice comes out clear like water, it gunks up my coils in a hurry.
Last night I tried stuffing as much cotton through my KF coil as reasonably possible, just to see what the effect would be. This was KGD, stripped of the denser outer layers and rolled between my fingers to make it more compact.
At my usual setting of 12 watts, the only definite difference was that it was quieter, making fewer crackling noises during a draw. Subjectively, throat hit seemed to be less, vapor production about the same, flavor maybe a bit muted. No dry hits, but then I don't do rapid back-to-back drags either.
I'll rewick it after finishing this tank and go back to my usual setup. I don't mind a bit of crackling but do mind using more cotton than necessary for good performance.
How much was 'as reasonably possible' ?
I was having probs with dry hits off a fresh battery and was told to use as much as poss which i did. Prob solved.
I use kgd as well and I reckon I use just under 1cm over the rim.
Have yet to try any of the Kayfuns. Looks good and easy to set up. Any idea on pricing? Cloud9 is still open just a couple days a week, I see. Already sold out?
More is better because more always works, less does not always work. There is an optimal point that is something less than more and something more than less. But when in doubt, use more. That is what we are saying.

I prefer just right to more than right or less than right.![]()
... so they are more happy and less frustrated. ... ...more or less.![]()
Yes, more happy is just right. But too happy and they lock you up.
(Bronze, I am not busting on you. Your help has been invaluable in this thread [along with a few others]. I'm just happy.)
