Blong -
I take a lot of heat for recommending variable voltage, and frankly, I'm not sure why.
The kGo is a constant voltage device. You cannot adjust the watts being generated in the coil or coils, you can only change to an attachment of a different resistance.
This is from the Hoosier website:
"This is it! the best eGo/Riva type batteries that we have found. Made by SLB. 1100 mAh for all day and night vaping. These batteries run at a higher voltage than most, instead of the 3.3v to 3.7v provided by most eGo/Riva batteries these provide 3.8v under load with 1.5ohm dual coils and over 4.0v under load on 2.0ohm single coil cartomizers".
Assuming "over 4.0v underload" means 4.2 volts, and taking the middle of the range of 2.4-2.6 ohms of your Phoenix (the same ones I use):
4.2 x 4.2 / 2.5 = 7.35 watts at the coil.
Maybe that's a little high. I'm getting a fine vape at 3.7 volts on my Joyetech eGo-C Twist. I have a lot of gear, but that's what I use 95% of the time. Far more than my VMax.
3.7 x 3.7 / 2.5 = 5.48 watts; a little cooler than your current vape.
Variable voltage lets you be Goldilocks, who liked to optimize her chair size, bed hardness, and porridge temperature.
PLEASE watch this video, and consider spending $22 on a Joyetech eGo-C Twist to see what variable voltage can do for your vape.

And please don't use dual coils without a specific reason for doing so. They consume twice the power of single coils at a given coil temperature.
