That sounds really good-especially when the temps drop like they have for the past couple of nights! Thanks as I copy and paste into my recipe folder.:p

It IS really good..... especially with cornbread. Bahahaha! In order to eat less cornbread I crumble up a small bit and put it in the bottom of the bowl first. Sometimes a girl just HAS to have her cornbread lol and this keeps me from eating two muffins.

the vanilla coffee custard sounds really good. and even with cornbread it won't make anyone look like that 30 lb cat

For now, if y'all don't mind, I'm using this thread as my accountability. No one has to respond, but I'm not letting myself post here in the morning until I've done a little exercise. At least until i get the habit reestablished  So, today was day 3:)

Now see here, not nice to tempt a girl with warm cornbread:p.

i make this in big batches and my partner takes a bowl to work every day since we originally had started ww. 1 points plus

mexican veggie soup

taco seasoning
fat free chicken broth
zuchinni
diced tomatoes with green chilies
frozen veggies
onion
garlic
carrots

saute onions, garlic and carrots. sometimes i'll saute the zucchini, too but not always

use as much or as little of the ingredients that fill your pot. i like to make it very very chunky so that it feels filling. serving size is 1 1/2 cups and it freezes very well :D

Hi All :) ~ I'm sooo glad I ran into this thread... A lil about me since most don't know me. I'm not gona lie, I need to lose about 60 pds. :(... Let's see ~ I'm an "emotional" eater.. I eat when I'm happy, sad, bored, whenever... And I love food, the richer the better, good gravies, lotsa butter. I have absolutely no willpower when it comes to food. Food makes me happy. That is my problem, that and I'm now in my 50's and my metabolism has completely changed.

So my sister and I joined weight watchers online (on sunday). She lives in Dutch Harbor Alaska (just lost her husband 12/15) and I here in CA. I'm really hoping that we can pull this off. I'm really going to try. I think w/the guidance of WW I can do this. The reason I picked weight watchers is their track record. They have just been around for ever, and I think once I learn portion control and a new way of eating I will be okay.

And now w/this thread on top of it, I'm thinking this just might work :) :)...

Good Luck to everyone who is trying to better their health/lives. It sure isn't easy... ... ...
