damn I missed the 50% off sale, damn it!!!

I don't know if the 50% FB coupon has expired, but the "mystery coupon" is good still. Until Monday...you can still get the "20-30-40-50 percent off" coupon is MYS61. The shifu slant coil atomizers are 40% off...I know that much. Not sure what the other things are. You just put in the coupon when you get to your cart and find out!

Now, that must have been an interesting vape...with that uber menthol brew you make Forth !

I've flooded mine just before bed before, and have noticed that the vMods do tend to drain the ejuice out of them if standing too long.
even though the little cup is suppost to hold a little juice at the base of the atty ( I think ).
Never tried to let it lie down. But do tilt and squonk it first time I use it in awhile.

Not a fan of carts but, couldn't resist the advantages of the vmod xl. Squeezed protected panasonic 3400 in there and I have a portable pocket friendly device with enough liquid and battery life for a couple days.
The silo worked well enough but, the old style hybrid it came with was awful. Despite that I decided to try the new improved version of the hybrid 1.5 and it's awesome. Just doesn't hold much liquid up top. Have to feed more often but, the vapor and taste produced is impressive as it should be for$9 a pop.
Will be trying to mod a rda once it arrives to feed. I know an a7 is possible but, looking to keep the extension minimal...

I just pulled the trigger on the VMOD XL. I'm pretty excited to get this bad boy! Hopefully it will take care of my "vaping Boba's frustrations!"
Thanks again Fourthrok for all the info!
Fourthrok is the one who convinced me to get my VMOD-XL. Belated thanks, Fourthrok. :thumb: I'm using my VMOD more and more, almost as much as my Mini Provari. It's a great on-the-go device for me. I'm also digging the hybrid atomizer.

I ordered my XL in the black case, which looks great, but I also wanted the burelled wood case and added this pyrex tip from from Sagewood Glass. Looks great, too.

I'm sorry to see you leave Vmodia, More2! You will be missed. But, as we all know...there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to vaping. For me, the Vmod is a good fit. Plenty of power, easy to use, feels good in my hand, and is pretty versatile with the stuff I like to use. Looks good too! I have a Bogger Box bottom feeder, and I like it (It's certainly pretty and very well made), but it's not my preferred feeder. It's design and function is much like a very hyped aluminum bottom feeder on the market that has many fans. Because of the similarities between the two feeders...I doubt that I'd really find my happy place with the aluminum version. For ME...the Vmod makes more sense and just works for me best and ...well...it just "fits".
Viva la difference, right?

BTW....I'm finding that if I am going to use a carto on my Vmod...that you were right. the Boge 2 ohm seems to do really well!

To each their own. I tried Boge on bottom feeders, and didn't care much for them. Preferred Smoktech 1.7 shorties.

I hear what your saying. I have a couple of crates full of Smok super shorties (2ohm..I'm a cooler vape gal, but hubby is with you on the 1.7s!) that I bought a couple of months ago. I really do like them, but my vaping style is, apparently, really hard on them. Most only survive me using them for around 24 hours. Which isn't so great considering they cost over $1.50 each! lol! Better than cigs to be sure but...a bit on the expensive side. I will keep using them of course...but lately my obsession is to find something that is as cost effective as possible. My forays into RBAs fell decidedly flat. I'm keeping the stuff and may make some more stabs at coils and wicks and all that stuff....but so far, it's not looking promising for me. I love the slant coil hybrid AMGs from Vapage and the Cisco spec 306 LR from Avid, but they are $9 a pop. And again, due to my vaping style, neither survives over a week when I get my hands on them. Sigh. So now I" trying the Smok standard 2ohm and the Boge standard 2ohm (I do really like Boge for my carto tanks) and both seem to hold up reasonably well. Around 2.5 days to a week. Since I can get the Boge for just barely over a dollar a pop...they are, so far, the most cost effective.

At least until dummy me can get a grasp on the rebuildable thing. The discouragement level with that is high right now, however.

Oh yes, RBAs are awesome. Pretty much stopped with the cartos/atomizers ever since. Just carrying a few cartos in the glove box "just in case". But I'm sure you've heard that before :)

Problem is that VMod is not quite as RBA friendly as other bottom feeders. It's still usable, just involves more fiddling.
