Hey everyone, I have an equipment question for you all. So right now I have the inferno starter kit. I got it about two weeks ago but I can tell already that I don't like it much. Bronze introduced me to the spinners by vision. I really like it and it was also mentioned to me that a kanger protank should work well with it. The problem with this is that I have no experience with clearomizers so I'm not really sure how they work and what I need to replace and how often I I need to replace those things. Also if I am wanting to have multiple flavors through out the day do I need to pick up multiple protank. I have about $100 to spend and I am wanting to make sure that I don't screw up again and buy something that I will regret like the inferno because I really want to keep it simple and I would rather spend my money on juice then mods
Daniel, welcome to the hardware thread and the elusive hunt for the ultimate euphorious vape! I have three Spinners in use daily - two 900 mAh and one 1300 mAh. I find them much easier to read the voltage settings than the eGo Twists, but other than that they are both decent bats. My 1300 has been working flawlessly for almost a year now. (with 3, or 4 in rotation, I get good milage from them. YMMV)
I also have three Protanks in use - two version I and one vs II. Haven't tried the mini yet. Does the Inferno kit use a cartomizer style tank? Or is it a small cig-a-like e-cig?
The Protanks are different in that they have the attomizer attached to the base and hollow central tube that goes up to the tip. Juice flows in to the heating coil through two holes in the atty where the wick sticks out. The coil is actually wrapped around the main wick with two more flavor wicks laid over that. The atty is easily replaced and depending on how much you vape and the juices you use it could work well up to 3 or 4 tanks full. HHV has a reputation of being very atty friendly. Other juices, especially Natural Extracted Tobaccos, will gunk up atty quickly.
While Protank attys are relatively cheap, they can be rebuilt, if you want to get into that, and rebuilding is less expensive and fairly easy to do. Many of the guys and gals on this thread rebuild their coils and wicks. There are also some who prefer not to bother and just buy new attys.
