Everyone has to do something I guess lol. I guess he kicked that habit? Never heard much more about it.

He says he did. But he also hid the habit in the first place, right up until getting busted, so who knows? Call me jaded, but I'd say he's probably still on the hillbilly ....... Pretty ironic considering his purported views about drug users. ......... use makes one a terrible person, but oxycodone is a forgivable vice.

For one, any positive press for ecigs is a good thing imo. Two, the man has millions upon millions of listeners. As long as he's not a puppy kicker, I'm thinking a little spot on his show about ecigs just can't be that bad a thing. Even if you disagree with the man and his listeners, would you wan to damn the uninformed to a life of tobacco use?

Easy on the hillbilly comment. Everyone I know is proud of the fact they come from the mountains. And I got news for ya. There are lots and lots of folks listening to that man that have no "hillbilly" background. Maybe you should give a show a listen if you doubt me. Many of his callers, be it for or against him are well informed, well read people.






Nothing wrong with being a hillbilly. Can you skin a buck or run a trout line lol?

I used to hate Rush Limbaugh, too. Then years ago, I had a job that required a long commute and I started listening to talk radio. Once I started listening to his show, I found out that I liked it! He's very clever and interesting. Lots of the quotes people use against him are sarcastic comments he makes on purpose just to goad people.

I think it's a good thing to hear positive comments on e-cigs in the media, regardless of politics.

PS - I am not a hillbilly, although many of my neighbors are! I suspect someone named "Banjo" is too.

I'm pretty sure his base is more like 30 million. I'll give his shows a listen when I'm in my car for lunch. Other than that, I blast my sirius radio at work all day. Sometimes I agree, sometimes not. Just depends on the subject. He's been using ecigs for several months now I'm pretty sure. Anyone know his model he's using?

He was really on a roll about how ridiculous it is for King's County (I believe) in WA state to pass a law banning e-cigs because they look real and "might" cause a real smoker to light up in public, since they "might" think someone else is smoking so they can too, causing a danger from second hand smoke. Ummm....stupid, at best.
