Feeling a tad Nostalgic lately, so I dug out my Kangxin Mini-VF. Have been using it while I watch TV at night.

Always Loved the way the Shape of this mod fits in my Hand.

Not sure how someone can call a 104mm mod a Mini? But then again, if you are going to put an LED Light on the Top next to the 510, I guess Anything goes.

A long time ago when I got nostalgic I would vape my pristine OG VV Reo Grand Silver Vein (circa early2012) with the small side button and an IGO-S on it. It ran on two 18350 AW IMR BT batteries in series and has a pot to adjust it. I can't remember what it's voltage range was (it's in a doc file that is long lost somewhere on my computer). I sent it to Robert and he gave it a clear bill of health and sent it back to me no charge. At the time with no spare parts for them he was mostly converting them to mech's.

Bought something like 75 of these 0.9Ω cCells for Vaporesso, Eleaf Mellow III, etc tanks, and a bunch of 0.9Ω ceramic coils for Ceravape Cerabis tanks as well in early 2016 that were all from the same lot numbers that actually worked without any issues that some folks were experiencing with them, and probably didn't use a half dozen of them total. Was another around $300 impulse coil buy (before they were discontinued) that didn't pan out when the tanks didn't hold my interest for very long. :nah:

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Halo G6 cigalkes with what amounts to Kanger T4 mini tanks. I have identical setups with both the T4 and T4S tanks from other brands. Only satisfying way to vape on a cigalike back then.

I still use cigalikes today (510 autos) from time to time and use EVOD clearos with SOCC coils using 510/ego adapters, or with Aspire Mini Vivi with RBA. Looks funny, but it's satisfying & can hold in my teeth and vape hands-free.

I had already stopped smoking before I ever heard of vaping. But after seeing an ad on TV for Blu they sparked an interest, so some research on cigalikes lead to the Halo gear supposedly being among the best they became the first gear that I bought. Along with the Halo gear I also ordered that same day all the stuff to make my own nicotine free liquids from the start. So the G6's was a start that did stir up my interest in vaping (the mechanics of smoking without tobacco or nicotine). But they were not satisfying to me because they were for MTL vaping and I was destined to be a sub ohm DL vaper. Being a hard head that has always preferred to learn on my own instead of from arm chair experts, my path was a progressive one to find the gear that did satisfy me. That path was a long one, with a lot of money wasted on a lot of high end gear before I started to find what worked for me. My path to DIY to find my own perfect recipes was similar, and by the end I had 160 of them before I stopped making DIY and retired all of my vaping gear. It was a fun ride that gave me something to do 24/7/365 until I lost interest in it when most of the companies I bought what was my best gear for my uses from all started to close their doors and their forums about 5 years ago. With that the people that used that gear and their forums daily also drifted away, so I also lost interest in forums. Vaping and collecting gear for it had been what was my last hobby. But old habits die hard so I do still come here sometimes for something to do.

That reminds me of the screwdriver by Trog. I still have one somewhere but it doesn’t work.

The SD was from years before my vaping tenure started, but I did see comments about it when I was doing research about vaping history before and after I took it up. I never took to carto's at all so ran tanks and RDA's on the Megalodon that i bought in 2013. At the same time I also added two more sleeves for it that I got from Tim at Moju Republic (UK) that had them in stock for a short time in 2013 (the short one on the left and long one on the right next to the center base tube in my picture). It was a handy shirt pocket carry for errands with a tank/18350 batt, but I also liked the wide ranges of voltages it could do with the extra tubes I bought for it. I still have it but can't remember the voltage ranges/batts that it took now because I did not use it for years before I stopped vaping. But I should still have that info buried in my huge vaping data base on the computer somewhere.

This isn't my picture but it is a Puresmoker Prodigy. It was my first real ecig after getting off of the Smoking Everywhere like cigalikes. It was this that cemented my place in the world of vaping. I purchased it through ECF back in 2009.

I also had the Prodigy passthrough. It outlasted all my other old days equipment. I wish I still had it, and some of those old 510 atomizers. I would drip, back in the days before tanks and clearomizers. Even before driptips, I would stovepipe.

Me too. I still have some of the atomizers that were like 801’s. I think they are called lr301 or 302. I can’t remember.

So many of you have been at this game longer than me, aquired, by the standards of the time, some pretty good gear and its always a pleasure to visit this thread.

After a brief brush with cig-a-likes in 2014, and some failed experiments with e- pipes, then gurgling Ego set ups, in November 2015 I got my first Nautilus Mini, with its real Pyrex glass, and an iStick 30w and since then have never looked back nostalgically to tobacco.

This is my oldest set up, dating from Christmas 2015 and it's still in regular use; I haven't the heart to permanently retire it.
