So I recently won a squonk mod here, but dont have an rda to go with it. Its the Geekvape regulated squonk.

Any suggestions for a newbie user? I've been vaping for 4 months, and have been using super tanks and ego one v2. So I can do the basic wicking and have some pre built coils. I also have a Zeus which I have managed to vape without too much trouble using pre built coils.

I like to vape at 0.5 ohms, and most of my coils are around that resistance. Not sure whether a single or double coil rda is better.

I also have a spool of 28 ga ss316 wire but havent made my own coils yet.

Looking for any easy rda to build, which can run at 0.5 ohms.

The dead rabbit....24mm can handle dual coils or close off one side and do singles. The 22mm for single coil only. Both make great flavor. If you like bottom airflow the vandy vape phobia makes AMAZING FLAVOR!!!

The Dead Rabbit is garbage and the Phobia is not for beginners.

For a first RDA I would recommend getting a single coil RDA. I don't have any single coil RDAs I can recommend other than the Goon which is a dual coil RDA with single coil option. The Drop is also a great dual coil RDA that can use a single coil.

A friend has lent me his narda clone. So difficult to build on, its tiny!

On the NarDa, I find that mounting the coil is Easier if I bend the Legs so they are going in the Direction of the Coil Axis.

Like This...

From personal experience I'd go with the Dead Rabbit. Don't listen to Don. It's AWESOME:p Easy to build, very good flavor and you have to work really hard to oversquonk.
The Pulse(24), Apocalypse or Goon(1.5) are good options as well.
Speaking from personal experience the Dead Rabbit is garbage. If you don't care about flavor and want an RDA with turbulent airflow that is a pain to get the coils positioned correctly then the Dead Rabbit is your RDA. I will admit it is easy to install coils into.

The Dead Rabbit makes an excellent bf atty. My only criticism is that the airflow is a bit restrictive. If you’re willing to spring for an additional $17 Challenge cap, the airflow opens up nicely.

Also consider the Bonza. Best bf RDA I’ve ever used.
