Yeah...don't want to hi-jack the thread, either....but Yagotta needs to hear these things too... You're going to find (both of you) many, many "Ricks" and "Yolandas" in this industry. I have run into the nicest people I've EVER done business with in this industry. I don't know if it's because it's so new or what, but you will find that the kind of customer service you're talking about as being exceptional is the RULE rather than an anomaly in this industry.

I got the eGo-T with the 1000 batteries and 6 bottles of juice, from a couple of different vendors... We will see....

To return to your most recent point - Gourmet Vapors lets you double or triple your flavor, as well as choose your mix of VG/PG. I ordered a few samples with double flavor and 80PG/20VG and the flavors were strong, triple probably is even better.

As for the simultaneous smoking/vaping - May I make a suggestion? As you are trying to make the transition, maybe you could keep your "analog" ciggies in the next room and your EGO with you all the time? You may find yourself smoking less if you have to go to the next room to get one. It really helped me cut down on smokes before I even started vaping.

I am so excited! But - I don't want to go too far overboard because it could be a fluke - just for today.

Got up around 8 a.m. Made my coffee, lit my cig, and immediately noticed - "Well this is kind of icky." (Was also dealing with a bit of a scratchy throat - even though I'm still drinking so much water I could spit and put out a 3-alarm house fire.) So, I finished that nasty little thing, drank some more coffee, and reached for my second morning cig. No way - no how - could I finish it. Wanted my cherry flavored eGo. (Yay me!!!!!) Somewhere in my insanity last night I think the "flavor" must have finally kicked in for me and I didn't even realize it. Butted out that second cig and here I sit - enjoying my cherry eGo. Miracle of miracles! Am I starting to turn the bend?

Haven't tried the coconut and almond again yet. Why ruin a good thing? For now I'm perfectly satisfied to OD on cherry.

Now let's see how the rest of the day goes.

yagottawanna, You are on a roll now! The same happened for me with my ego-t and I'm busy checking out all of the new accessorries I can get to make this easier. Plus I'm now waiting for new flavors from Mrs T's Bakery. From reading on ECF, I've heard nothing but rave reviews of her flavors. I hope they come in the mail today!

First of all, let me warn you. There isn't a dictionary for this lingo. I know - there's a library section here; all sorts of stickys; umpteen "Read This First" reminders; etc. - but the more you read, the more confused you become. You're better off doing what I did - just tell everyone you're stupid. End of story. (Although you may be a little smarter than I am - considering you have 2 brain cells left - and I think I'm down to about 3/4's of one.)

I'm sure you can tell (by reading my thread) that if you're bound and determined to go insane, you've come to the right place. In your journey you will laugh; cry; fool yourself into believing you've got it right (when you've actually got it ALL wrong); you will become so frustrated, homicidal thoughts will enter your mind; the lingo will give you nightmares; every 11 and a half minutes you'll want to give up; you will smoke part of the day - then vape part of the day (or some other variation); you will want to spend money you don't have to spend in an attempt to cover all of your bases; you will throw temper tantrums (like I did); you will go crazy-er (like I did); and on and on and on. But - the people here are awesome! If you don't understand what they're trying to explain to you, be up front and tell them - "I am stupid and I don't "get" it." I promise they won't give you a hard time (or at least they didn't with me - and I have tried their patience so far beyond the limit of human nature, I'm surprised they haven't requested that I be banned from this board).

Just remember: There is a huge learning curve - and we're all here for you. Don't be afraid to ask any questions at all!

All the tell-tale signs that switching to vape would work for Yagotta were there, so that part cannot be surprising.

Been a long time since I've read that a cherry-ish juice was that first one.

Been lurking here for about a month. Started vaping about a week & a half ago with a Joye Ego. Cut back from a pack & a half a day to 6-8 cigs a day almost immediately, down to 4-5 a day this week.

Today is the first day I really didn't want an analog to start the day off first thing with my morning coffee!

No analogs at all so far today and feeling pretty good. Just gonna play it by ear and see how it goes today.

This thread has been one of my inspirations to give this a try. Good luck to all.

Simmer down folks! I have since had another 2 cigs. My brother called me (he lives in another state) - I haven't talked to him in quite awhile (he was kinda busy undergoing chemo and radiation) - and my "Oreo" is the telephone. You would think that him dealing with cancer (although not related to smoking) would cause me to not pick up the "icky" thing, but the eGo wasn't helping with my anxiety.

No apologies. (Nor should anyone else be apologizing or feeling bad.) We all need to do this in our own way, on our own time frame. It's all good.

Awesome! I knew the flavor would show up sometime soon It doesn't end here though, not at all, soon you'll be vaping (and TASTING) anything you want, I'll be surprised if 2 days from now you can even finish (or want) the FIRST cigarette of the day.

Exactly! The phone was always my "Oreo" too... LOL. Once I got a set-up that I really liked, and a juice that I really liked, then I could trust myself to be on the phone and still vape instead of smoke. Now it's a no-brainer. Any cigarette you avoid is a victory. Even if you go from 25 a day down to 24 a day....that's progress.

Me too! There's some Pavlovian connection about gabbing away and smoking that is hard to break.

The first morning cigarette with coffee is a toughie, too. For me, vaping a mocha flavor works best with coffee. It gives me a "tobacco-y" sort-of taste, but better, and blends well with the coffee.

Maybe mocha isn't your flavor, but if you can find one that you luv that goes really, really well with your morning coffee, you'll find that reaching for your ego is more appealing than a cigarette first thing in the morning, because you actually like it better.

Any cigarette you avoid is a victory. Even if you go from 25 a day down to 24 a day....that's progress.

This is the most important thing, I think, and something I try to focus on. We didn't start out smoking 37 packs a day! We built up to it, so now we build up to vaping.

It doesn't have to be all or nothing for you to measure success. Celebrate the small victories - they will add up!

Well - some of my stuff came. The prefilled cherry cartomizers (26mg); 5 Boge empty cartomizers; 900 battery; 1 atomizer (someone here said I should have a spare); 1 bottle DeKang (?) 24mg almond; and 1 bottle DeKang (?) 24 mg. bottle coconut flavor.

No problems with EcigBestSave - love the company - and still love "Rick" - since I had to call him again. No one told me that the cartomizers would not have that thingy that you drag/vape with that came with my ego kit, so I was thoroughly confused. Rick is my man - did a great job of explaining; told me how I could still use a "thingy" if I wanted to; told me how I could fill the blanks (as well as how many drops); told me how I could mix flavors in the blanks; told me how I could add some of another flavor to the prefilled cherry cartomizers once I used them for a bit; and a whole bunch of other helpful info.

Yes - I love "Rick". I don't know how their prices compare to others, but when it comes to someone being helpful, talking to me on the phone rather than by email, and guiding me along like I was in Pre-K (which is pretty much how I feel), I'm inclined to go with that old saying of: "You get what you pay for."

Now - how have things been going? Sad to say only so-so. I need stronger flavor - forget all the other stuff. When I ordered from "Rick", I should have gone with the USA made flavors (according to what I've read) because they tend to be stronger and sweeter. Would any of you here agree?

I'm using the cherry and while I'm getting "some" cherry flavor, it's not even close to what I need or want. Later on I'll try some almond - then the coconut. (I've already mixed almond & coconut with the cherry and my taste buds must be deader than dead because I'm gettin' nuttin'.)

So - please chime in here and tell me where you purchase the strongest flavors in a minimum of 26mgs. Flavor - something I can taste - really, really taste.

I have another order coming next week or so - from Pink Spot Vapor (got the sample pack) but they're only 18mgs. (mistake on my part and have already been shipped) and what I ordered was:

1 coconut cream pie
2 French vanilla
1 Dutch apple pie
1 pina colada
1 pineapple upside down cake

Bottom line is if I can't find something in the right mg. - with a really strong flavor this will be a failed venture for me - and a ton of money wasted.

A few things to keep in mind:

Nothing minty or menthol - gives me migraines.
Nothing "coffee flavored" - I want my coffee in a cup - the way God intended.
I'm not a drinker, so no rum; brandy; or anything like that.
