I learned something new...to me....yesterday.. I've never had a "sweating" toilet tank before, didn't know there was such a thing.. I had to turn the AC back on because the humidity was so darn high even though the temperature wasn't... condensation was building up and dripping allover.... tank looks lovely wrapped in a bright pink towel...

I've had a sweating toilet before..tho i didn't realize it till I , um, slid to the floor....true ...

I have a 30 ot 6...locked n loaded....really, I do. Don't know if I'd actually shoot anyone...well, if they were trying to break in I certainly would...

I know it sounds nutty, but a random thought crossed my mind .. Could Mr Kim, the newly Named "Rocket Man" and his Underground Nuclear Tests have any link to what appears to be the current rash of Earthquakes .. ??

Also, I wonder what Elton John thinks of the Kim "Rocket Man" naming .. ??

I was just discussing this yesterday evening...I really don't think I could shoot to defend myself, but...Lord help anyone who would attempt harm to those I care about!! There would be no thinking about it or hesitation...

Aww...come on now...You don't want to know what I did to alleviate the aftermath of keg parties? Turned the water off, cleaned and dried the bowl...painted red rings on the inside to make a target, black numbers for score points...and Bulls Eye at the very bottom...

Real common here in Florida. At least it was before everybody got air conditioning. They sell tank covers for decorating now but, most people don't know that they were invented to solve that particular problem.

When I worked at the print shop my boss had Osama Bin Laden urinal screens printed up. They were very popular. Especially at the VFW and American Legion.

Someday, I will relay the Story of the Night I helped finish off a bottle of Mezcal and the Young Lady that talked me into eating the Worm .. it is neither Joyful nor Uplifting .. it was the One and Only Time, and, suffice to say, the "Toilet Target Apparatus" could have been put to extended good use ..

I'm leaving it at that for now ..

On a brighter side...last night me and a few others were overjoyed to be in a short HO with our Gracie..she was of course her usual chipper bright self.."cept she lost her glasses...they were resting on the top of her head......we asked her if she could sit up a little higher, cuz all we could see of her was from her eyes up ,so while she was trying to accommodate us we got to see the ceiling..the walls... the floor...but no Gracie....finally we saw her...but then her eye started stinging real bad so she had to leave....

It was a hoot, that's for sure! Sorry I had to get off quickly, but had to call a nurse in cause a hair had gotten into my eye and landed right on my eyeball.....nurse documented it as 2" long and curly......yep, I know, crazy, but she got the saline and a sterile gauze pad and delicately wiped the eyeball......fast thinking, but then again, she is a nurse and knew exactly what to do! That think hurt like a soab!

ETA: One of the doctors I've been seeing was a little indelicate with my injury, and it hurt like the devil.......told him if my husband hadn't been there holding my hand, I would have rendered him manless........he didn't like that........that's my form of defense.....don't put a gun in my hand.......jeez, I may just shoot my toe off.......pun intended.

I used to own a revolver that looked very much like that....a long time ago, when Husband made a lot of trips away and I had children to protect. I think mine was a 45 though, but I could be wrong.....too long ago...

Well now you're talking ... my fav revolver is a Colt 6 shooter in 45 long colt. The hammer clicks 4 times when cocking to spell C O L T.

My place was broken into many years ago while I was at work on the afternoon shift. I came home, opened the door and found my place virtually stripped clean ( mind you, I lived in a two-story duplex and the people were home at the time!!) The thieves even took food out of my refrig. I called the police, the neighbors said they saw or heard nothing! The thieves had to have made at least three trips to and fro!
In the talk with the cops they told me to get a handgun and if needed and I had to shoot, then after they'd fallen try to drag them at least halfway out the door so it be self-defense or some such...don't recall exactly except for the part of their being halfway out.

somebody please correct me if I'm wrong....I thought the assailant had to be at least half way IN to call it self defense...

I was told once that whatever I did, don't let them get back outside. Now that Florida has the stand your ground law and it's academic. Just have to prove that uou thought your life was in danger.
