@yiddleboge6 Very nice job on this painting. I especially like the way you captured the plant and flowers. What's up next?

Working from a less than stellar reference photo of a red poppy...

I'm running out of different ways to say thank you for all of the kind comments on my paintings...

To everyone...

Well, not this morning, but yesterday afternoon, took a tumble and thankfully, it was in the garden.......but, I have some large rocks, and hit my lil ole leg on one of them..I'm hurtin a lil this morning, but I'm very grateful it was minor. Thus, this morning's gif. Ya know, world's problems! ;)

Good morning everyone!

Good morning, all.

Anise, I have been up since 4...jeez I hate when that happens.

I don't mind so much when that happens because the house is so quiet and I can wait for the first birds singing to welcome the day. The problem is I then want to take a nap through lunch!

Works for me - about twenty minutes before the alarm goes off.

Ha! Ain't that the truth! The day I retired I got rid of my bedside alarm clock. Haven't missed it at all. On the rare occasions if we must get up early for some reason we just set the alarm on our phone. (That still sounds odd to me)

SO happy you're recovering so well. I've heard several horror stories about how painful shoulder surgery can be. Yep, I predict you'll be ready to start slapping people silly in no time!!

Good morning, Loungers!

Too funny! I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself too badly when you fell in the garden. I've done that a time or two, but our garden is surrounded by trees and such so nobody can see me trying to untangle myself and I got rid of the rocks so I just get dirty, but at least it's good dirt. I've got a handy phone pocket in my garden apron so I could call or help if I get attacked by any aggressive plants. The mind is excited about working in the garden, but the body doesn't always cooperate!
